Kurapika covered his ears. In the back of the bus, all the students were very loud. They were shouting and some were singing. Obviously, they were excited to go to the waterpark. Leorio and Kurapika were happy as well, but not to the point of yelling.

"I wish these kids would be more mature," Kurapika mumbled to Leorio. They were sitting next to each other. The ride to the waterpark would take quite a bit. It wasn't as close to the hotel as intended.

Leorio chuckled. "Let them have their fun," he said. "They'll have strict rules at the park."

"I guess but what about the driver?"

"I told the driver to yell at the kids himself if he needed to."

"Of course you did."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"It isn't 'supposed to mean' anything. You're just sensitive."

Leorio laughed. "How is that being sensitive?"

"Just shut up."

"Someone's a bit moody today. Wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?"

"No. I woke up with you in the bed," Kurapika whispered.

"You're being risky by saying that."

"So the movie theater wasn't risky?"

"It definitely was. But who cares?"

"I care."

Leorio put a hand on Kurapika's thigh and slightly leaned over. His lips were close to Kurapika's ear. "You didn't care then," he whispered. "Did you, Sunshine?"

Kurapika put his hand on Leorio's chest and pushed him away. "Out of my face, Leorio," he said.

Leorio chuckled. "Alright," he said. He reached into his pocket and pulled out some gum. He popped a piece in his mouth.

"Gum," Kurapika said. "You have gum?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Can I have a piece?"

Leorio put the gum back in his pocket. He shook his head. "No," he responded. "It's just for me."

"Wow. Rude."

"I'm not rude. I'd be even ruder without it."

"Why? Is it cocaine or something?"

"It has nicotine."

"Oh. Okay."

Kurapika slumped his shoulders and sat back. Leorio laughed. "Just buy your own gum if you're that sad."

Kurapika glanced over at Leorio. He rolled his eyes. He didn't even respond. Just a dirty look and a sigh.

"Cheer up, Kurapika," Leorio said. "Why do you have to be so rude all the time? Ever since high school."

"I'm not rude all the time. You're just overdramatic."

"Mhm. Sure. How about you get some sleep? You're being more like yourself than yourself."

"What does that even mean?"

"You'll figure it out. Now sleep. I'll wake you up."

"You're being serious? You actually want me to sleep?"

"Yes. Now close your eyes and go unconscious."

"Is that a threat?"

"It will be soon."

Kurapika chuckled. He closed his eyes. He mine as well listen to Leorio. He went to medical school after all.
