Just Dinner

9:05pm BAY Restaurant

Edward parked his car 2 cars down from the restaurant. They saw Emilia and Ashley walking out.

"Hey. I'm sorry I was late I was...."

"I was in the area and we got into a long conversation. And we lost track of time. I apologize" Edward said

"Oh no its fine" Emilia said (smile) "We understand. Right Ash?"

"Yeah. We do"

"I was wandering if you would have dinner with me" he said to Summer. "Just dinner"

"Yes. I would love that" Summer said (smile) "Ill see you ladies tomorrow"

"Sure. Have fun" Em said.

Summer gives her the books, "Here, could you hold these for me? I'll pick them up tomorrow"

"Yeah, okay"

"Thanks. Good night"

They said good night. Leaving in the UBER. Edward and Summer went inside.

They got a table....

The waiter gives them water. Then Summer ordered but Edward didn't want anything. The waitress brings back a salad.

"Your not going to eat?" she asked him while she sticks the salad on the fork

"I'm on a special DIET" he said smiling

"Special diet? I can't tell"

He laughs, "Its very hard to tell"

"I guess. Your so mysterious to me Edward Cullen"

"I can say the same about you. When I first saw you, I couldn't read you"

"You've mentioned that before. What am I'm thinking now?"

"I don't know. But with these other people, some of them are thinking about money, SEX, finances, more sex. A cat"

Summer laughs. "Wow"

"Its insane right?"

"Yes it is"

"Which brings me to your unknown power"

Summer feels uncomfortable, "I don't want to talk about it"

"Were gonna have to talk about it sometime Summer"

She looks at him with anger; firing eyes, "I SAID NO"

The ground of the restaurant begins to shake. "Summer....."

Everyone looks around wondering what's going on. Edward couldn't believe what is happening.

Water and wine glasses began to break! Some people scream. The windows BREAKS! out of the restaurant.

"Summer stop" he place his hands on her cheeks, "Calm down. Look at me. Look at me" "Its okay"

She looks at him; she stops. The shaking stops. Her eyes went back to normal.

Tears fall down her face, "I'm sorry" she got up and ran out. He follows her, "Summer!"

He turns her around and holds her. She cries. "Its alright. Its gonna be okay"

"I'm a freak"

"No your not. Your special Summer. And no one can take that away from you"

The waiter walks out, "Excuse me, but are you gonna pay for that salad?"

"Yes. I'm sorry" he takes out $30.00. "Keep the change"

The waiter smiles, "Thanks" he went back in.

She looks at him. He wipes her tears; smile.

"I....have to go back in. I left my purse"

"I'll get it. You go to the car okay?"

"Ok"

She walks to the car. He went back in and grab her purse.

At the Queen's castle in Richmond, NY

The Queen walks in her living room with the others that joined her. Sasha, Tina, Tony, Amanda....Chris Carpenter and his daughter April. Who is now a VAMPIRE.

"Tony, I want to ask you something"

"Anything your highness" he said taking a sip of Bourbon

"Did you know about your daughter's special powers?"

"Nope. I did not"

"I think your lying to me"

He got up from the couch, "I'm not lying to you"

"Yes he is. He's full of SHIT your highness" Chris stated

"Mind your fucking business asshole"

Chris stands up, "FUCK you! Your still mad because I was married to your daughter"

"Yes I 'am. But I'm glad she came to her senses and divorced your ass"

"Yeah well. That was unfortunate. But the man she's with now, he's no different. You know T, Kia has a bad taste in men. Besides me. I gave that woman everything. And she fucking divorced me"

"Why oh why did I ever bother getting back with that BITCH. She's not worth it"

Tony runs fast towards Chris; grabs him by the collar and shoves him to the brick wall! BAMB! "You watch who your talking to! I will fuck you up!"

"Then go ahead! DO IT!" Chris shouted

"ENOUGH! Tony let him go" the Queen ordered

Tony let Chris go and walk away. "I'm a ask you again. And this time, tell me the truth. Did you know about your daughter's special power?"

"I DIDN'T FUCKING KNOW OKAY?! THERE! ARE YOU HAPPY?!" he shouted. Throwing the small glass and walked out.

"He doesn't know your highness. Let him be" Tina said. She followed Tony.
