Summer is in her room on her Rose Gold Apple Mac book. *Door knock*
"Come in"
The door opened>>>>>>>Its Austin. He smile, "Hey. Dinner is ready"
"Okay. Give me 2 minutes"
"Summer...."
"1 minute? I promise it won't be long okay?"
"(sigh) Okay. Hurry up" he said closing the door.
Austin went downstairs in the kitchen to help Britt with the Spaghetti and dinner rolls.
"Is she coming down to eat?" Britt asked
"She will in a few minutes"
They set the table. Britt takes out the lemonade from the refrigerator and comes out and starts pouring in glasses.
Austin stands by the stairs; shouted, "Summer! Dinner! NOW!"
Summer steps out of her room closing the door, "I'm coming! Geez" she went downstairs.
"What took you so long?"
"None of your business. Chill out" she said walking in the dining room
"When I tell you to come down, I meant it" he said
"Whatever. Your not my father" she said rolling her eyes
"Your right. I'm not. But I'm your legal guardian which means...."
"Austin stop it. She's downstairs okay?"
"FINE. I'm sorry Summer. Dad's tactics rubbed off on me. Forgive me?"
"Yes" she slightly smile
*Door bell* "Just in time, I get it" Austin said as he went to the door and opens it. Its Kia. The older sister. She works at Evolution Records as a music executive. A headstrong busy woman.
"Hey sis"
"Hey bro. Evening. Am I'm in time?" she asked smiling
"Yup. Come on in"
She walks in and Austin closed and locks the door. Kia went in the dining room. "Hey Britt"
"Hey Kia"
"Hi little sis. Its good to see ya"
"Good to see you too Kia"
"May I get a hug?" Kia asked spreading her arms out
Summer stand up and hugs her. Kia hugs her back; smiles, "I miss you"
"Yeah. Me too" Summer sat back down. Kia sits next to her. "I love the short long hair. Your so pretty"
"Thanks"
"Summer, she's here now. Could you at least be a bit enthusiastic?" Austin asked
"She's trying" Britt replied
"I 'am trying" Kia stated
Summer looks at her sister with a fake smile, "Thanks for the compliment of my hair Kia. I really appreciate it"
"Okay. I see what this means" Kia stands up, "I should go"
"NO. Kia sit down. Were here as a family and were going to eat as a family. Summer, your gonna STOP with the attitude. I've had enough. You shape up or I'll ship you back to Pittsburgh. What's its going to be?!"
Summer rolled her eyes messing with her food with the fork, "You win. Sorry Kia. I'll try"
"Its okay sis. I know your upset. Things are gonna work out since your out here. Were gonna spend a lot of time together"
"Awesome"
"Speaking of awesome. I'm signing Julian James tomorrow"
"(gasp) Oh my God. Julian James? THE JULIAN JAMES?! I love his music!" Summer shouted; smiling
"You do?" Kia asked
"YES. Any young girl or woman would love to be with him"
"He is cute" Britt said. Austin looks at her. "What?"
"Okay, okay. Let's change the subject alright?" Austin stated
"Oh you would bro. When we talk about men you want to change the subject" Kia replied
"Because I'm a guy and I don't want hear female gossip about men"
"Then COVER your ears" Summer said
The three girls laugh. Austin slightly smile, "Yeah, yeah. Laugh it up"
They continue to have their conversation as they eat.
Afterwards....hours later....
Summer is getting comfortable in nice comfy Queen size bed. *Door knock*
"Come in"
Its Austin. "Hey, I just want to say I'm really glad you opened up on Kia"
"Yeah. It felt like old times"

He closed the door. Summer turned off her light and went to sleep.
Austin went in his bedroom. Britt comes out the bathroom in a robe. He noticed she had a suitcase by the door.
"Your going out of town again?" he asked her
"Yeah. This dental plan meeting in Orlando. Don't you remember? I told you a few days ago"
"Oh. Right. Forgot" he said sitting on his side of the bed. "Being a detective is a bit stressful. Especially when there's not a case"
"You can go back on patrol. Hit the streets"
"No, no. I don't want to deal with drug dealers, prostitutes', mob bosses, etc"
"Good point"
Meanwhile.....
Cullen Family House
Jasper holds Alice's hand while she sleeps. Edward comes in...."How is she?"
"She's sleeping. Its a bit weird though. She should be awake"
"She's strong. She will wake up Jasper"
"Yeah. (sigh; he closed his eyes) That witch....why would she go after Alice? Why?"
"To distract us. To make us angry"
"She already made this family angry remember? Alice and I wasn't even around when the Queen made the love of your life a VAMPIRE"
"I know. I think about that every time I close my eyes. As much as Bella wanted me to turn her into one of us, I just couldn't do it. Someone else had the stomach to do it"
"Could you fall in love with another human?" Jasper asked him looking at him
"I....don't know. I don't know if I have the heart to love again" Edward said leaving the room.
