Missing

Annabeth dreamed the same dream she had been dreaming since her baby was kidnapped.

That he was killed by Kelli.

She didn't know if it was true. She hoped it wasn't. She couldn't tell Percy though. No, he would get even more worried about her than he already was. She didn't like it. She didn't want to be treated like a fragile doll.

Annabeth sat on the bed watching the clock tick. She was home alone, Percy was out.

He was out most of the time. What she hated most was that he wouldn't tell her where he was going. He would tell her he was going to be with Malcolm and then not return for several hours. It had been that way for weeks.

She walked outside and looked out at the beach. The cool blue waves. The peaceful sound.

"Annabeth!" She turned and saw Hazel running up to her. Behind her was Reyna. Annabeth frowned,"What?" She asked once they reached her.

If Reyna was here, it had to be important. Very important. Her heart started beating faster.

Hazel had he hands on her knees and was catching her breath. So was Reyna. Annabeth looked from where they had come.

"Did you run here from camp?"Annabeth asked. Hazel shook her head. She pointed out to the left of the house. Annabeth hadn't seen it before. Blackjack and one of his buddies stood there.

Blackjack was only ridden by Percy. Well mostly by him.

"What? What happened? Did something happen in camp?"Annabeth looked at them waiting for an answer. Hazel bit her lip. Reyna looked at Annabeth.

"No nothing."Reyna said.
"The ones who were flying the pegasus didn't return with them...Blackjack and Guidi returned by themselves."

It slowly drown in. The ones who were riding them. Annabeth gulped and hoped with all her heart it wasn't who she was thinking.
"Who-who were they?" She asked, her tone shaky.

Reyna and Hazel turned to look at one another.
"Tell her Hazel." Reyna suggested
Hazel shook her head fast,"No! You tell her!"

"Stop! Tell me who were they!" Annabeth said her voice raising in panick.

Reyna spoke next,"Percy and Malcolm." With that, Annabeth dropped to her knees.

"What happened to them?" She asked. Reyna and Hazel both looked down at her.

Hazel kneeled beside her,"Get up Annabeth. We need to get to camp."
Annabeth shook her head. "What happened to them?"She asked again.

"We don't know...we're not sure." Reyna responded after a while.
