Arriving at Camp Jupiter

Piper's P.O.V

She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Calypso walk inside Camp Jupiter. Maybe it was another dream. It had to be. Piper recognized her from the drawing she had see back in Leo's room when they were on the Argo ll.

Some campers stopped what they were doing and looked at Calypso as she walked towards Reyna with something in her arms.

Piper walked towards them and reached them just as Calypso stopped in front of Reyna.

"You must be Reyna. Hey, I'm Calypso."

Reyna frowned,"Weren't you stuck in an island?"

Calypso nodded and her arms tightened around the bump in her arms. Piper wasn't sure what it could be.

"Yeah, but um- Leo rescued me..."

Piper's eyes widened. Leo rescued her? Hazel had told her about seeing him in the Iris message but she had to make sure she hadn't heard wrong.

"Wait-so Leo's alive ?" She interrupted.

Calypso looked at her then,"You must be Piper. He's spoken highly of you."

"He's alive?!" Piper asked again.

Calypso nodded once again. The bundle in her arms moved. Piper's mouth fell open.

"Oh my Gods...you two had a baby?!" She blurted out. Calypso's face went bright red. The baby in her arms uncovered himself from beneath the blanket.

"What?! No! This is Percy's and Annabeth's baby!" Calypso responded. She held up the baby and Piper saw the resemblance of Annabeth in him. His eyes were like Annabeth's but his hair was nor black or blonde. He smiled at her.

"Why do you have him?" Reyna and Piper shrieked at Calypso at the same time. Piper was sure she was going crazy.

Leo was alive for sure.

Annabeth's and Percy's baby was alive.

It was too much to handle.

"Holy Hephaestus, let me hold him!" Piper said taking the baby in her arms. Reyna looked at the baby in shock and then back at Calypso.

"What is going on?" She asked Calypso.

Piper listened as Calypso explained how they had found Percy, Annabeth, and Nico in their way to Camp Half Blood and how Nico had made a plan on how they would defeat Lamia and the empousi. She told them about how she had taken hold of the baby after Tammi had set the baby down and flew back to Camp Half Blood.

"Chiron wanted to make sure the baby was kept safe so he sent me here. He said you could help." She finished off.

Reyna nodded ," Of course! Piper will show you the way to apartment 28 down Ave street. Won't you Piper?"

Piper nodded as she tickled the baby. He giggled, making Piper laugh along with him. Reyna held her arms out indicating she wanted to hold him. She passed the baby on to her.

She looked at Calypso wide eyed,"I don't get it though- where were you and Leo all this time?"

Calypso smiled and shrugged,"We were traveling the world! It was amazing!"

"But we thought Leo was dead! Do you know how much we missed him? I'm going to kill him once he gets here!"

Calypso laughed and threw her arms around Piper's shoulders. "You go ahead and do that then."

Piper spotted Jason and Hazel by the stables. She called out to them and they made their way to them.

Jason noticed the baby in Reyna's arms.

"Woah! Is that-"

"It's percy's and Annabeth's baby!" Hazel said before Jason could finish.

She gave the baby a big hug but he took hold of one of her hair strands.

"Ouch!" Hazel shrieked. The baby giggled again and let go of her. Hazel massaged her scalp,"That baby's just as strong as Percy and Annabeth."

Jason looked around,"Are they here too?"

Calypso shook her head and told him and Hazel about their quest. Reyna kept herself entertained with the baby. It was odd seeing the praetor of New Rome laughing with a baby.

"What color is his hair?" Jason asked after Calypso was done.

"I'm not sure. It doesn't look like he got it from Percy or Annabeth." Hazel replied.

Jason took the baby away from Reyna and held him up in the air. The baby drooled on him.

"It looks brown. Guess it's Poseidon's gene." He theorized.

"Athena has brown hair too."

"Whatever. The baby's back that's the only important thing." Reyna told him as she put her pinkie into the baby's fist. He gripped it and tried putting it into his mouth.

"He's hungry. Hazel, can you go get me some formula milk in the baby shop downtown? Please?Tell them I sent you." Reyna instructed. Hazel nodded and off she went.

Jason tossed the baby up in the air.

"Piper, show Calypso the way to the apartment." Reyna told her before walking away.

Calypso got the baby back and she buried him under the blanket. Jason told them he had something to do and went away.

Annabeth stepped inside Camp Jupiter with Percy at her side.

She didn't know what to feel. Anxiety, panic, or excitement. Percy took her hand in his and smiled at her.

After months of searching for the baby, she couldn't believe he was so close. Taking a deep breath she walked towards Reyna's place. Frank and Leo, who had decided to come with them (Frank because he had duties to attend, and Leo because he wanted to see the others.) walked behind them.

"Wow, last time I was here I ended up blowing everything. I just hope no one remembers that." Leo piped up.

"Trust me, the Romans never forget anything." Percy assured him laughing.

They found Reyna in her office, her two dogs at her side. She welcomed them inside.

"I guess that you're looking for Calypso and the baby." She told them. Annabeth nodded eagerly.

"They're here right? " Percy asked,"Is Grover here too?"

"Yes. Grover's here. Calypso and the baby got here about four hours ago. I assigned them an apartment downtown." Reyna confirms.

Annabeth let out a breath of relief.

Leo stood up, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go meet my nephew and find Calypso." He grinned,"Let's present myself as Uncle Leo."

Reyna led the way and on the walk to the apartment Leo kept on pointing out things that caught his attention.

"Dude, there was a pizza place like that in Hawaii! Best pizza I've ever tasted!"

"There was a dog just like that in Buenos Aires that could actually talk!"

"That cake looks so much like the cake we ate in Florida!"

Frank, who had been trailing behind them groaned,"Just shut up already Leo !" Annabeth wanted to thank him but Reyna stopped in front of a door and knocked softly.

They waited for several minutes before the door opened and Calypso came into view.
