More Problems

"Well what do you guys do around here ?" Leo asked as he sat on the couch playing with a plastic fish.

"I don't really know ... We haven't been here in a long time." Percy told him honestly. Annabeth stood up from besides him with Baby Jordan in her arms.

"I'll be back, the baby fell asleep." she whispered to all three of them before heading to their room.

"So is it safe to go out to the beach?" Leo asked putting the plastic fish back on the coffee table.

Percy looked at him ,"It's the middle of January and it's snowing. Does it look safe to you?"

There was a knock on the door that startled them. Leo looked at Percy and Calypso.

"I'm not going to open that." Leo said.
Percy sighed and opened the door. Nico and Will stood outside.

"We need to talk." Nico demanded.

"Woah woah , it's been like about an hour since we left the camp , what's so important?" Leo said standing up.

"Lamia left some descendants." Nico told them.

Percy frowned,"What?" Leo and Calypso also frowned.

"I mean that Lamia had children-is that even what you call those things?-anyways , they've been attacking mortals in the city." Nico informed them as he stepped inside with Will and closed the door.

Will shook off his sweater and tossed it to Nico who threw the sweater to the couch. Will scowled at him while Nico smirked.

"So what do you want us to do?" Leo questioned him. Nico turned to look at him as if he barely realized he was there.

"You"-he pointed at Leo-"You, have to go back to Camp Jupiter. They're curious as to where you've been."

Leo sighed heavily,"Are you freaking serious ? I just got back from there." He turned to Nico,"I'm not going back."

Nico shrugged , "Don't complain when the Romans come and get you."

Leo sat back down with a frown.

"So , um , do you guys want something to eat ?" Calypso asked heading to the kitchen before they could answer .

Nico sat down and looked at Percy with a serious look.
"We need your guy's help to defeat Lamia's children. There isn't many campers at camp right now , we need all the help we can get."

Percy looked behind him at Annabeth who was silent. She looked at Nico and Will startled.

"What's going on?" She asked puzzled as she stepped forward to stand next to Percy. She looked at Leo who was still frowning to Percy and back to Nico.

Percy explained what had been going on the best way he could but he was certain he was confusing her even more by the way she looked at him.

"So you're saying Lamia left behind some of her baby snake things and now they're all over New York?"

"That's what Nico told me."

"Yeah , but I explained it way better than you did." Nico spoke .

Percy rolled his eyes. Leo stood up and headed to the kitchen with Calypso.

"What's up with him?" Annabeth asked. She looked at Leo leave quietly.
"Not sure , but we got a problem that we need to fix." Nico picked up Will's sweater from the floor and handed it back to him. Will looked at him.
