"Please take rest dad went to talk to the doctor "

Sunoo pulled the blanket up  and adjust his mom to meet her comfort position on the hard hospital bed .
When he finally managed make her fall asleep , he sat down on the couch inside the same room with a local newspaper on hand .

On proceeding to read the news ..

After like 20mins of the doctor shouting to the nurses on her carelessness . He finally came out of the room .
The hospital room right next to our's .

I wonder how critical the patient was there because of the tight attention he needed ever second . One slight distraction and his panic attack would start . Poor soul....

Its been 5 days since we moved my mom into the hospital  due to her heart condition .

The first day itself was scary about the  unfamiliar room next to us

"Ok......hmm....alright . Mrs.Kim don't worry too much , you just need an cardiac surgery and a lot of rest . Mr.kim please buy these following medi- " 

"DOCTORRR PLEASE COME EMERGENCY ROOM NO. 109 ITS HAPPENING AGAIN "

the doctor just drop everything and didn't even say sorry but ran of our room as fast as the lightning .

"rude much" i mumble under my breath while picking up the reports  he dropped .
" don't say that son , it seemed pretty urgent "

"Hm"

"Anyways honey what do you wanna eat?"  my dad asked as he went  closer and held my mom's hand .

" W-wait  honey are you going to cook?"

" yesss  why? can't i cook for my lovely wife ?".

As much as i felt like puking at the extra cheesy moment between my parents , it was cute and comforting to watch them .

" thats so sweet of you honey but the last time i remember you entering the kitchen , you almost burn not only the kitchen but also our house " my mom replied with a teasing yet soft  tone.

"Aish honey!! Not infront of  our son"

" Uh.. i should leave now continue your chirping love birds " i said acting as if i was fainting and left the room .

As i walked out of our room and passed the next room  i heard

"Doc , do think he is normal now ? "

" Can't assure yet but for now we have manage to steady his heartbeat pace. Don't leave him out of your sight ok  . He needs full care and attention "

"Ok doctor i will make sure of that"

'how critical is the patient . It seems to be a boy as the doctor said "he"   '

I went to take some fresh air . After a short while i heard my phone ringing

Upon seeing the caller id , i smile

"Hello Wonie!!!"

"Sunoo hyungggggg hi !!! How's your mom?"

"oh she is fine . The doctor said that she needs a cardiac surgery and a lot of rest  "

" Uff thats relieving to hear "

" yae but you know some thing happen "

" what is it "

" when the doctor was about to tell my dad required some medicines for my mom when a nurse barged into our room and said he needs to come to the room next to us urgently and said that something happened again  "

" OK but isn't that normal ? Being a doctor ? "

" wait that isn't the climax "

" Then spill it i can't wait "

" hold up impatient ass . So i understand it must be emergency but you know as soon as he heard the nurse he litteraly dropped everything  like not the normal way but so harsh and he ran out to the room soo fast . i don't know but it was somwhat weird for a doctor to be in thatttt rush "

" oh my i see . The patient must be an important or a very serious one "

" i think so too . Anyways have you done tomorrow's maths home work?"

" shoot !!! I forgot . I need to do it now thanks for reminding and byeeeee"

" tsk. as expected . Bye woni-"

i couldn't even finish up my sentence when he hung up. This kid ...

I checked the time and decided to  head in since it was gonna be dark and dad needs to go as well.

As i head in i heard some muffle sounds from the room109 , if i heard it right it was something like

And then

*clashhhh*
A loud sound of glass clashing was heard and i was about to head into the room when

"Sorry sir but you cannot go in"
