The fight started Kamui used his quirk to send his tree branches towards the teenager. acting fast Kurtis dogged them jumping off each branch to get as close as he could towards Kamui.
Kamui: dam! he's fast!
Kurtis: VOID CHAIN!
Kamui looked at Kurtis as the teenager shoved his handset his hands on fire before putting one of his hands towards the pro hero
Kurtis: PRISON!
his hands shot off flames that quickly changed into the oh so familiar black chains. holding on to them Kurtis through them at Kamui. to defend against this attack the wooden hero used his own branches to protect himself as well as push past the chains
again Kurtis began to dogged the attempts to grab him. as Kurtis dogged his chains quickly burned through Kamui's wooden barracks. from there the teen had to stop in place as Kamui immediately headed towards the teen and went for a hand to hand combat
Kurtis countered with his own fists while also dodging Kamui's attacks
Kamui: Lacquered!
Kurtis: SHIT!
Kamui: CHAIN PRISON!!
in seconds Kurtis was enveloped by the tough hard roots that wrapped around his body
Kamui: you put up quite the fight but you still have a lot to learn
Kurtis: this fight ain't over yet!
Kurtis set fire to his hand before it created a large axe no bigger than himself
Kurtis: HEADSMAN AXE!
swinging the axe around quickly cut off the branches around himself before he jumped back from the pro hero
Kurtis swung his axe around before facing it at Kamui. the wooden hero grunted at the sight pain of his arm getting cut off but lucky it grew back in seconds allowed the hero to look at kurtis.
Kamui: smart thinking.
Kurtis: hell yeah!
Kamui: but...
Kamui: I CAN STILL BEAT YOU!
Kamui jumped into the air and threw a fist at the male, the teenager axe disappeared in smoke and flames before he blocked with his arms and kicked the hero back before Kurtis through a leg sweep causing Kamui woods to fall over.
Kurtis created his axe again facing it at Kamui neck
Kurtis: do you yield?
Kamui: I...I yield
Kurtis let go of the axe again it turned to smoke and flames before helping the hero up
Kamui: well played.
Kurtis: I can't take all the credit you're pretty difficult to beat! since I couldn't just use my fire. you live up to your reputation!
Kamui: as do you, I saw your fight against your brother you've come a long way from there. and I think Egdeshot can agree
Kurtis: ???
Egdeshot: I do indeed
Kurtis: AHHHHHHH?! S-SENSEI!?!
Egdeshot: don't be so surprised I am a ninja after all.
Kurtis: am gonna get a heart attack from these guys I swear to god...
Egdeshot: aside from the fight you still going to have to do your upper body work out and I know exactly how. follow me
doing so Kurtis followed Egdeshot to another large room only this one looked like a rock climbing gym mixed with various pillars and sticks protruding out the sides of the rooms and floor
