Chapter 8

Addison POV//

It's been a week since I found out I was pregnant. I still haven't told Bryce but I planned to today I had brought and cute baby grow saying 'hello daddy' which I was going
to put in the box with my positive pregnancy test. I couldn't wait to see his reaction. I had also booked my first appointment for tomorrow which I needed Bryce to come to. I don't think Bryce had any idea I'm pregnant. I have been having morning sickness but I just told Bryce that it was my period causing me to feel sick. He believed me, I loved how gullible he was.

Bryce POV//

Addison had been sick for the past week. I wanted to look after her like the boyfriend I was. I offered to take her to the doctors to be checked out but she simply told me it was her period making her so sick. At first, I thought she was pregnant but now I know she's on her period that obviously meant she wasn't. That made me kinda sad as I had gotten my hopes up about becoming a dad, and now I will have to wait. Today me and addi had the day off but she said that she had planned something for us. I couldn't think what but I was excited. I was laying in bed next to her. We were both awake just on our phones looking at emails and stuff.

B: 'what are we doing today babe?'
A: 'well, I wanna take you to the beach'
B: 'why? What have you got planned?'
A: 'can't tell but you're gonna love it'
B: 'aww baby'

The beach was always our special place ever since that's where I asked her out. I couldn't believe that was over a year ago now.

B: 'so when are we leaving'
A: 'In like an hour'
B: 'ok shall we start getting ready?'
A: 'sure! Just wear your swimming trunks and then a t-shirt'

Addison POV//

Bryce had no idea that to celebrate I had booked us a hotel on the seafront. I already packed our suitcase and it was in the boot of our car. I told him what he needed to wear and I got into a bikini. Luckily, I didn't have a bump yet so I could get away with showing my belly. I was wearing a yellow bikini with denim shorts and a black crop top over top. And Bryce wore and some black trunks and a white muscle shirt over top. We got to the car and I drove because Bryce didn't know where to go. I drove us to Malibu and we got out. I was just taking him to the beach at first and this was when I was going to tell him. I had a bag with some tanning oil in for me and our sunglasses and towels and stuff but it's also had the box for Bryce in. We sat on our towels and I just decided I want to tell him now.

A: 'baby I have a little gift for you'
B: 'really? Why'd you get me a gift?'
A: 'you'll see'

I passed him the box

A: 'ok here, don't open till I say' I got my phone out and set it up recording secretly
B: 'I'm so confused right now'
A: 'ok open' I felt so excited yet so nervous

Bryce POV//

We had just got to the beach and Addison said she had a gift for me. I was so confused when she just passed me a box. Why had she randomly bought me a gift? She told me I could open so I did. I was shocked

B: 'babe you're pregnant?'
A: 'yes, yes I am' she says tearing up
B: 'WHAT OMG'
A: 'are you happy?'
B: 'happy? I'm ecstatic.... I'm gonna be a dad'

I could not believe this. I had gotten my hopes up about addison being pregnant and then when she was 'on her period' i was actually disappointed. But now she isn't and was actually pregnant I felt like the happiest man on earth. We going to have a baby.

A: 'babe guess what?'
B: 'what? How can this get better?' I said smiling
A: 'we have our first appointment tomorrow'
B: 'yay!!! Can I come'
A: 'of course I want you to come'
B: 'so this is why you have been so sick?' I laughed
A: 'yep, there's a baby causing my sickness'
B: 'I'm so happy babe'
A: 'I'm even more happy that you're happy'
B: 'I'm so excited for this adventure. We're gonna get through it, just the two of us'
A: 'yep but aren't you forgetting someone?' She said rubbing her stomach
B: 'just the two of use plus our little pouty animal' I said smiling
