Everyone had just gone home after our gender reveal and so we were cleaning up, Ryder was watching tv since he was grumpy and tired. We had already eaten loads of food today so he wasn't hungry for dinner. I still couldn't get over the fact we were having a little girl and I believe this little girl will make our family complete. Addison and I were in the kitchen and we heard little footsteps running across towards us.
A: hi Ryls R: dada pway B: it's a bit late for playing now bud, we need to get ready for bedtime R: ball B: we can play with your soccer ball in the morning
He walked up to Addison and threw himself against her legs wanting to be picked up.
A: hi sweet boy •she said picking him up• R: no pway? A: not tonight but definitely tomorrow •she said rubbing his back as he rested his head on her shoulder• R: oh A: sorry bubs
We decided we should get him to bed addison carried him to his bedroom and I followed behind, she placed him in the floor and picked out his pyjamas and I got him dressed. Whilst I did that addison went and made him a bottle and when she was done we always met Ryder choose who puts him to bed, most of the time he chooses addison since he's a mommy's boy but he does also choose me quite a lot.
B: Ryder who do you want to put you to bed? R: mama •he said running into her stomach• A: oww B: buddy be careful with mommy tummy, are you ok babe? A: yeah I think so •she said holding her stomach• B: can daddy put you to bed? R: no mama •he said holding onto her neck• B: but you are hurting her
It was very hard to explain to 1 year old that he couldn't run into his mom because she was pregnant and obviously it wasn't his fault because he doesn't know but it does still hurt her.
B: are you sure you are ok babe A: yeah I'm fine now it just hurt a little and scared me that's all B: promise? A: of course, he may have ran into me but he is only 1 and he doesn't have that much force •she laughed• B: ok good, well goodnight mini me •I siad going over to them and kissing his head• R: wye (bye) da •he said hugging me slightly•
Addison POV//
I had just put Ryder to bed and now Bryce and I were sat in our bed when I suddenly had a thought.
A: babe? B: yes my love A: do you think we should maybe move? B: I had never really thought of it till now A: yeah me neither but we live in a 2 bedroom apartment I just feel we might need more space for 4 of us B: yes you're right we definitely will, maybe we should have a look? A: ooo yes please
He grabbed his laptop and we started to have a look but none of them really caught my eye, they were all a bit basic, or too small. We decided we were definitely going to buy a house. The I saw one, the one, my absolute dream house.
A: that one •I said pointing• B: you like it? A: yeah I love it, it's my dream B: I love it as well but I didn't think you would A: omg yes B: shall we book a viewing for tomorrow? A: yes please!! B: ok
