Addison POV//

I left the restroom and I went back over to Bryce. We got our tickets checked and we went and took our seats. I was already feeling pains as soon as we sat down but I tried to hide that from Bryce.

The movie finished and we were getting up to leave. I was still in pain but nothing Bryce needed to know about yet. He took my hand as we left and we went out to the car, both getting in our sides. I honestly couldn't wait to go home to bed since my back was killing me.

B: hey babe you doing ok?
A: yeah I'm tired and my back hurts, thanks for a really nice night though
B: that's okay baby, you deserve it!

I smile and blush at his words.

Bryce POV//

We had just gone home and addi was showering. I had just gotten out of the shower and I was laying on our bed in my boxers waiting for Addison. I knew we couldn't have sex anymore but cuddling was still nice enough. I decided whilst we wait I was going to post a picture.

After I posted on Instagram I saw Addison come out the bathroom. She looked so cute. She climbed in bed next to me and I pulled her close. Before we knew it we were out for the count.

Addison POV// •next morning•

I was awake so early for some reason, it was like 5:30am and I could not calm back asleep. I tried but I was so awake so instead I decided to get up. I went through to the baby's nursery and I started folding and putting away his clothes which I had washed. We were going to have a big baby shower but unfortunately we are still in a lockdown so people can't come round. Luckily though, the rules change by next week so when he is born people can come round and visit him which will be nice.

After folding clothes for about 30 minutes I was done. I sat down in the chair in his room and I looked up at his name which was in a frame on the wall. It was crazy to think in less than 3 weeks, we will have a baby boy to call that name and he will be in this very room. Well, probably he won't be in here for a good few months but you get the idea. It wasn't even 6am yet so me being the pregnant self I was decided to go through the whole hospital bag again and check we had everything and just rearrange it all. Baby boys hospital bag was fully loaded with everything from clothes, to diapers to blankets. He was due on December 28th so after Christmas, I really hoped he came after that date or way before since I really don't want him to be born over Christmas time. Talking of Christmas Bryce and I planned to put up our Christmas tree today which was exciting. I loved the holidays it was such a nice time. Usually we would spend Christmas Eve and day in Florida with Bryce's family and then come home and spend time with my family however this year will probably change a lot because we will either have a really new newborn or I will be heavily pregnant so who knows.

Bryce POV//

It was now 11am and Addison and I were decorating our apartment for the holidays. I was so excited for this. We decorated our tree first and all of our decorations kind of matched there was a white and gold theme but we also put a very special bauble on this year. It said
'Baby's first Christmas' and even though he may come after Christmas it's still cute.

After the tree we then put up our stockings, we had one for little boy incase he did come early and then we could but little gifts in there, mainly for our joy though since he would have no idea what was going on.

B: yep I love it
A: I can't wait till Christmas Day, I wonder what we will be doing this year.
B: maybe just spend it here or at your parents house and maybe my mom can fly down later on in the month
A: yeah it really just depends when he decides to come I guess
B: so hopefully he comes soon, are you still getting braxton hicks?
A: yeah quite a lot more than yesterday, anyway I'm going to FaceTime Dixie
B: ok my love.

Addison POV//

I went upstairs and started to FaceTime Dixie.

D: hi queen
A: hey pretty
D: how you doing?
A: I'm doing okay, in pain but I'm good, how's my bestie?
D: I'm great!! How's bump?
A: painful he won't stop moving
D: do you reckon he will come soon?
A: yes, I'm having quite a few bad pains I don't wanna tell Bryce yet because they could just be bad braxton hicks and I don't want to freak him out.
D: well maybe you should start timing them so then you will know
A: yea I should that's a good idea

Dix and I carried on talking for about 20 minutes and throughout that time I had so many bad pains. Worse than they usually are.

D: you okay addi? •she asks me as I look visibly in pain•

I nod not being able to speak, I was just focusing on breathing and waiting for it to pass.

A: ok it's gone now
D: you should really be telling Bryce now, those seem to be like contractions

When Dixie said that she was right. I don't think these were braxton hicks anymore i think I might be getting contractions.

We ended the FaceTime and I went downstairs to tell Bryce, he was on his laptop answering some emails.

B: oh hey babe?
A: hey um baby I think I'm having contractions
B: wait really, already?
A: yeah when I was on FaceTime to Dixie I got about 4 in 20 minutes
B: do we need to go to hospital? •he sounded so freaked out and scared•
A: no we need to call my midwife and she will tell us what to do
