Bryce POV//

It was now December 27th and Christmas had just been, we spent it at Addison's parent house and we mainly stayed in, opened presents, ate and played games. It's 2 days my mom was coming down to stay with us which we were so excited for.

Right now it was 3am and I had been woken up to a knock at the door, luckily addi and Ryder stayed asleep. I went to see who it was. I opened the door...

B: Elle?
E: hi bryce I need a favour?
B: what kind of favour?
E: well I know what I did to you in the past but the guys I was with is abusing me and I can't live there anymore, i need a place to stay!
B: so you came here at 3am?
E: yeah im sorry but it will only be for a few weeks until I find my own place

I felt sorry for her in a way, although she cheated on me I still cared for her. It would be rude of me to turn her down like that.

B: fine

I let her in and took her to the living room since the guest room was now Ryder's room. I grabbed a pillow and blanket for her.

B: ok you will have to sleep on the couch since we don't have a guest room
E: that's fine I was expecting that
B: right I'm going to return to my fiancé and son if you don't mind
E: yeh thanks so much for this
B: it's fine I guess

I went back to my room and climbed in bed. I saw that Ryder had miraculously appeared next to addison so I'm guessing he got unsettled and she couldn't resist but to cuddle him. I mean I don't blame her he is adorable and cuddly. I cuddled in with them and fell to sleep.

Addison POV//

I had just woken up and fed Ryder, it was 7am and Bryce was sleeping so I decided to go downstairs with little man. I got up and went to the living room holding Ryder to my chest, when i walked in I saw a girl asleep on our couch. What the fuck. I got closer and saw it was Elle. My first immediate thought was that Bryce was cheating? But no he would never do that i trust him. Ryder started to whimper which woke Elle up.

A: shhh buddy it's ok
E: addison?
A: hey Elle... care to explain why you are asleep
on my couch?
E: yes I'm so sorry

She explained to me what happened and that Bryce had let her in like what in his right mind was he thinking?? I felt a tiny bit bad for her but not enough to have to put up with her for a few weeks.

A: well I guess you can stay as I don't have much choice just don't crack on with my fiancé
E: oh I would never I'm not like that anymore I promise.
A: ok then I can't see why we won't get along
E: great

It was now 8:30 and I was just doing some work on my laptop at the breakfast bar whilst Ryder was asleep next to me in his rocker. Elle was in the living room doing something and Bryce was making some breakfast. I took a pic of Ryder in his rocker and put it on my story.

After I did that Elle went and showered because it would be mean if we didn't let her lol and I took Ryder back to the living room since that's where his rocker was supposed to be. Bryce had gone to work out and I was in the kitchen but I can see Ryder and hear if he cries. I was just making breakfast for me and well Elle because although I hate what she did with Bryce she has been through a lot and I don't know I'm not a rude person. I needed the bathroom so I quickly went to our room since we have an en suite (there are two bathrooms just to clarify). As soon as I started peeing I hear Ryder cry. Great. As I got up he stopped I went to the living room to see why he quickly just stopped. I was so mad at the sight I saw. It was Elle rocking my baby like he's hers , I was so angry and what she was saying made me more mad.

E: shhh it ok mommy has got you, I will look after you.

What the fuck, he's mine she can't be saying that she's his mom!!

A: uh what are you doing with my baby?
E: sorry he was crying I just wanted to help since you were busy

She sounded sweet when she said that but I knew her intensions were sour. I just decided to forgive her because maybe I was overthinking or I took what she said the wrong way.

A: ok but he's mine so can I have him back
E: he's happy with me
A: trust me, he will be a lot happier over here with me he is a mommy's boy
E: it's fine you get what you want done I can watch him
A: I have a free day today to spend with him so no I just want him back •I say putting my arms out•
E: I won't hurt him I swear
A: I don't care I just need to feed him please, he is hungry

Before she had chance to say more I just took him out of her arms and went to the kitchen and started nursing Ryder.

Bryce POV//

I had just gotten home from working out and I was worried to see show Elle and addi have been. I went in and walked to the kitchen to see addison feeding Ryder.

B: hey baby •I kiss her•
A: hi babe
b: hey little guy •I kissed his head as he ate•
How you been?
A: well I was ok until I saw your ex comforting our son and telling him that she was his mom and that she's gonna look after him... oh and not to mention that I had to snatch him back because she would give him over to feed
B: she did what??
A: yup
B: wtf I'm talking to her rn!!!!
B: ELLE •I yelled•
