It was now 12pm so Ryder is now 9 hours old, and he's doing very well. The doctors said if he continues to eat as well as he is then we should be able to go home this afternoon or evening. He eats really well but we have to wake him up to eat and he loves being warm so we have to strip him down otherwise he won't eat lol. Bryce went and got me and him food from chick fil a, which was nice because I hadn't eaten in like 19 hours. It was so weird seeing him here finally.
B: how you feeling babe? A: better now I have eaten B: is Ryder asleep? A: yup like always. It's funny he was so active when he was inside me and now he barely wakes up •we laugh• B: it's so nice to have him here early though A: yeah B: oh by the way, dixie was wondering if she could come round when we are home? A: I mean she can, but she will have to sanitise if she wants to hold him. B: ok I will text her back.
Bryce POV//
It's now 2pm and the nurse just told us we can home at 3:30 so I was just packing up our stuff. Addison was nursing Ryder since he was due a feed and after that she was going to change him. He was so little so getting him dressed was very hard, my coming home outfit won the poll on Instagram. I went out to the car to put the bags in and also get Ryder's car seat. I went back to our room and Addison was just burping Ryder. We were just talking and I was getting Ryder's clothes ready.
After she was done, I got him dressed since addison needed to get herself ready to leave, he screamed the whole time I was changing him I think it's because he hates being cold. Once I finally got him dressed I was just waiting for Addison.
Addison POV//
Bryce and I could finally leave. I had just gotten dressed into proper clothes after what felt like forever. I walked out to see Bryce comforting Ryder since he was screaming from getting dressed, it really melted my heart. Bryce then placed Ryder carefully into his car seat and buckled him up, he tightened the straps slightly because Ryder was so small. I placed a blanket over his body to keep him warm, and then Bryce picked the car seat up. We walked out to the car and it felt so good to finally leave the hospital, Bryce made sure he was in properly and I sat in the back with Ryder.

Finally we got home. We took all of our stuff in and it was so nice to be home. Dixie was going to come round and meet him so that's nice. We are also planning on showing his face later on today. Dixie was on her way round and I couldn't wait for her to meet him, I'm pretty sure Noah was coming too and knowing him he probably going to get baby fever, dixie will love that.

Dixie had just pulled up and I was feeding Ryder but I had a blanket covering us. Bryce let them in and she came running into the living room.
