Eeek today was our gender reveal scan! We were going to do a big gender reveal party where we would open a box and balloons come out or something but because covid is still causinga lockdown (pretend it's worse than now just for the story) we don't want to risk anything with Addison's pregnancy so we are just going to get the doctor to tell us. Even though it wasn't quite what we planned I'm still super excited. I already know it's a girl so it really won't be much shock but for Addison however she thinks it's a boy so it will be a shock for her. I don't mind it being a boy but I really want a daddy's girl. Either way as long as the baby is healthy I will be happy.
Addison was laying in my arms asleep. Our appointment was at 11 and it was 9:30 so I needed to wake her. I slowly started to run my finger through her hair but she was so tired she didn't even flinch, I then thought maybe it would be cute if the baby woke her up so I rubbed her stomach a bit and I felt a little kick meaning addi probably did as well. I saw her arms stretch up and yawn. She's looked at me smiling.
B: hey baby, morning! A: morning love! B: are you excited for today? A: yes very, what about you? B: so excited, a little bit sad we couldn't have a gender reveal party. A: same but I think it's nice if we find out just the two of us. Don't you? B: yeah, anyway we need to start getting ready A: okay
Addison POV//
I just got out of bed and did my skincare, today bryce and I are finding out the gender of our baby which I was so excited for. I chose my outfit and got dressed, putting on a light amount of make up because I know I'm going to cry it all of anyways.

Bryce and I finished getting ready and then we headed downstairs for breakfast, I wasn't particularly hungry because I still had some morning sickness so eating in the morning is just not something I like doing recently. I ate some fruit and Bryce had toast with bacon. We still had a bit of time before we needed to leave so I just decided to scroll through tiktok. I was always nervous before I went to an appointment, I never knew why because it's not like I don't feel the baby move like every hour but it just worries me.
