All those things you ever said

Could change it all if I could listen

But my mind held so many thoughts

That

Echoed around

And I didn't know

Where I was

Who you were

How it all could come together

A thousand moments

Seemed to bleed,

Seem to disappear,

Go to waste

Is this the life I dreamed of?

Is this the life you'd promise me

You'd stay and I'd be there

All along

It seemed the broken stars

Were out of reach for both of us

We'll change it all

Just you wait

All the dreams that you could see

Were never yours to take

All the flowers and all the trees

Were pretty but never yours to see

All along

This life went by

And it was out of reach

If the stars will glow for you

Then they'll glow for me too

We will stay

With each other

As the storm

Rages on

I could change it all if only you'd let me

So won't you change your mind

So I can live a thousand lives

I can hear a thousand whispers

From the hearts that beat in time

I could go on if you'd follow

So won't you come along with me

If I would reach the highest mountains

Would you be there if I fell?

For all along

I was not ready

To see things for what there were

All the stories

Of the lives come and gone

I will listen if you'll let me

And I'll be here

With you now

All these echoes in the breeze

Remind me of

What couldn't be

But won't you let them go now

And stay here with me...

This is the life

That's mine to hold

Let go of your demons

Stop drifting away now

Of the leaves

Falling down

But times moving on

It's all moving on
