You aren't supposed to question,
You aren't supposed to challenge
So what are you supposed to do?
Hang your head and follow blindly in circles?
Your sanctuary is only safe for a moment
Cover cover cover
The world with your thoughts a thousand times over
Words and thoughts and heartbeats
Here then gone
This isn't supposed to be it
But it is
You aren't supposed to be me
But you are
I see past the lies
But not the truth
It holds you there
Paralyzed
Beliefs and cares
Struggles and failing
And-
Silence
Once more
Light as the darkest night
Dark is the brightest dawn
No purpose
No meaning
Just things that you believe in
