Yesterday, gone, without a trace
Swallowed into the break in time
Now all that's left is today
Flawed and dangerous
Might rip us apart
Unless we can last
Future slipping away too
Not yet still mine
Failed and gone
Nothing and everything
Endless twirling loops
Across the sky
Setting it on fire
Burning with a strong golden light
I don't know these faces
I don't know these places
So I'll hide away
Into the silent cold world
Away from the sound trying to pull me away
But it's all out of my reach
A shining light
Don't pull me apart
Flickering glowing crystals
Holding the power
Shielding the paths we must protect
Before we lose them
Leading the way
Just follow them to the end
Follow them to the end
Midnight tears
And fallen years
Drifting away into the sound
Covering your heart now
Find the key and unlock it
You'll discover more than you can know
Maybe the secrets of everything that's tucked away underneath
Could free your mind could fix it all
....maybe anything is possible
Catch the fleeting sparks
Of inspiration as they take flight into the atmosphere
Like birds
Tracing their way across the sky
Everything strangely jagged
Like uneven brushstrokes
A simple mistake
Yet regret pricks like a thorn
Everything everything
Going so fast then grinding to a stop
Here, now
A blur
Happiness
Sprinkled here,
Sprinkled there
Pieced and pieces
Fragments of you
Unseen
Unheard
Sunset colors dancing across the world
Furled tight like a scroll
All our history
All our words
Everything everything won't stay forever
Take that as you must
Flower blossoms on the hillsides
Temporary lasting beauty
Everything could be patterned across your soul tonight
Why not search for it?
Maybe the answers are right there
