A feeling I can't quite shake
Has me in its grasp once again
I try to be free I try to move on
"You have your whole lives ahead of you"
Sighing inside
Sure I do
But you don't know everything about me
Maybe nothing at all
I write this a little bit sad
A little bit empty
But if I can find a tiny bit of happy
That's enough
To swallow the heartbreak
For now
Just live to the next moment
Touch something worth keeping
Spinning around
Asking all these questions I can't answer
Not yet
Give me time and I'll try
I'm not scared to feel this
Just scared it will grow worse again
Try to surround me
But here's the truth
I won't let it
Breathing even if it hurts
Burning brighter with some hunger that might not make much sense now
Bide your time and you'll see
...you'll see
Pain and setback
Fear and truth
It is okay
But it isn't
Sadness
But not forever
Not forever
