The world whirled by
Caught in a hurry
She stayed inside
Hiding her face
No one gave her a glance
No one seemed to see
But in the meantime
The secrets from above
Were whispered in her ear
The light shined down
Illuminating the shadows
No one saw but that was alright
Something had filled her mind with inspiration
It was enough for the moment
Peace
Peace
For a moment
Surprisingly warm
Peace
I hadn't forgotten you

Caught under a spell
In the perfect moment
Creating something out of nothing
Stars dotting the skies
Smudging the heavens
Capture it all
So much going inside
A lot of bad underneath
Flickers of good all around
Bright shining lights
Beautiful lights
And all of us here now
Scribbling a whirlwind of musical sound
All this time
All this rage
Let it go
Let it float away
Down the river
Fear crashing
Shhh
Let it
But a strong shield
Of creativity
Genius
That only
You understand
You might be inside a thousand swirling
Tears
But the chains will break
They'll snap in half
Even if the storms beat down
They'll pass
Candles burning bright
Your soul,
Glittering like a diamond
Reclaim
Your lost crown
Same one you had years ago
Behind the hurt and the tears
It's still yours
It's still yours
Nostalgia
The past is faded
Bittersweet
Don't surrender your life now
Keep reading the words of the lost
Break
The problems that keel.plauging you
Break them in half
Walk on
The path
Even though it might
Twist
Spiral around
Build a bridge
And cross the raging river
You might fall you might get hurt
But you're going trecover
Somehow
Play the pieces just as they are meant to
Falling into place
Knotted around in a rope
Pretty patterns
Wear it on your arm
A bracelet...
Purple butterflies
Landing on the scattered flower petals
Love and tears
Geometric shapes
Gradient sunset
Drawings and sketches
Clocks ticking around you
But everything goes on
Smiling smiling
Silly thoughts
Pretty thoughts
Innocent innocent
This time
Might it last?
Darkness isn't so different from light
When you really think about it
When it's all blended together
Who can tell the difference?
I can't-
Can you?

Words
Stringing them together
What does it mean
Someone tell me
Can you?
