~drift away~

do you ever just want to scream out at the stars 

this impossible perfect scene we're all in 

do you ever want to just scream out 

everything you were always feeling

do you ever want to yell at the sun for still shining 

no? 

well, sometimes you're like that 

sometimes you're at peace 

life may make no sense sometimes 

but maybe that's not always the case 

and i hope it's not 

so hold onto whatever you can 

that's not bitter and black 

light light light-

hold onto it 

let life go on 

as it is 

and just stop 

when neccessary 

some things can wait

so dry those tears, 

spill those fears, 

let whatever needs to drift away drift away
