Chenle breathed in then entered his math classroom with confidence.

He isn't here.

Chenle slowly approached his desk then pulled the chair back to sit down. Chenle saw from the corner of his eye that Mark stole a disappointed glance. Donghyuck, cutting the silence, he heard Donghyuck's voice call for him. Making Chenle lifting his head.

"Chenle...Jisung isn't here by the way." Donghyuck said before turning forward. The couple In front of them were quiet, they're usually never..

"Oh..Well Do you know where he is ?" The smaller asked and Donghyuck shook his head.

"No."

"Though, I thought you said you didn't want any contact with him." Donghyuck confronted Chenle, leaving him speechless and froze for a bit.

He glanced at Donghyuck before the teacher calling out his name. Chenle gulped then slowly stood up from his chair to approach the teacher's desk.

"Jisung, had told me yesterday he won't be able to tutor you anymore. He says he thinks he's falling behind this class which I think he's doing perfectly fine. Though, I respect my students so I moved the student next to Cho-Hee, so you'll be sitting there for the rest of the school year. She will tutor you instead of Jisung and she'll help you. I must have your approval first." Chenle looked at his feet then slowly nodded.

"Great, grab your things and say hello to your new desk mate." The Teacher smiled at Chenle before he dismissed him.

Chenle returned back to old desk to grab his backpack and walk towards Cho-Hee's desk. He placed the backpack on the hook placed in the side of his desk.

"Hi!" He heard a female sweetly greet him.

"I'm Kim Cho-Hee, just in case I haven't gave myself a proper introduction." Chenle hesitantly nodded his head.

"I'm Zhong Chenle." He said quietly.

"Now, I've heard from Jisung that you left off on equation 53. Why don't you take out your math book and I'll guide you through it, hm?" Chenle nodded his head and grabbed his math book out of his backpack.

He flipped the pages and went to the page full of difficult equations. He stared at equation 53 and confusedly looked at it.

"Okay, so look at this." She leaned a little closer to get a better look then guided them through the equation.

"What's 30+15?" She asked.

"Uh..45?" Chenle hesitated then she hummed.

"Mhm! Then there you go, you get your answer." She smiled, making it more sense to Chenle.

"A-Ah, thank you." Chenle smiled.

"No problem! Try to do the next one, number 54. If you need help just don't be to scared to ask." She said before looking back at her math book.

Chenle did the beginning steps of the problem and counted numbers in his head. His mind went to numbers into thinking about Jisung. Chenle stopped mid-way of the question and stared at the equation blankly.

"Do you know how Jisung is doing?" He blurted out.

The female lifted her up to look at him. She nodded her head, probably having no clue about what happened yesterday.

"Yeah, when we grabbed some ice cream he was doing fine. He even told me how much he likes you. Is..everything going well between the two of you?"

Flashback

"You don't know how much I like him. His smiles his facial features, his small body, his laughs. The way he looks at me in the eyes..ugh." Jisung smiled to himself and played with his fingers.

"I think I'm going to ask him out in a few weeks, but I first wanna apologize. It feels like I did something wrong and I'm trying to figure it out. Nothing comes to mind. Should I bring a rose ?"

The female nodded, she smiled to see her friend fall in love. She never thought this boy would really change him.

"I say go for it, roses are good enough. It shows you really care." She stated.

A small smile appeared on Jisung's face then could imagine how well the moment could go. Or so, he thought it was.

End of flashback

"Yes..something did go on between us and I regret it with my whole heart." It worried Cho-Hee that he heard his friend's lover say such a thing.

"I told him I didn't want contact with him and now I want him back so bad." Chenle looked at Cho-Hee, who was already staring at him. Tears ran down Chenle's cheeks. Cho-Hee cupped his way and wiped away his tears.

"Hey don't cry, you have a chance to get him back but you need to do it quick before his feelings fade away for you."

Chenle heard at what she said.

"Apologize before his feelings fades away from you, you can do that Chenle." He thought.

Jisung blankly looked at his math homework then had enough. Just trying to think on his blank mind and could only think about sleeping. Jisung looked at his reflection at his mirror to see his eyes blue along some eye bags under. He knocked down the mirror and stood up from his head to head to the restroom.

Jisung powered on the light and turned on the faucet. He grabbed a handful of water to splash it onto his face to try to wake up since he also needed to get school work done.

Jisung grabbed a small dry tower and dried his face. He couldn't help but ended up making his face wet as tears ran down his cheeks.

He breathed out and threw the towel on the floor. Feeling empty.

He looked at his reflection in the mirror to see his blue eyes turn into a darker color.

black.
