GIO texted San kagabi na pinapapunta daw ito ni dean kinabukasan ng 1:30PM sa office nito.
But she has a problem.
Hindi pa siya kino-contact ni Tres kahit binigay na nito ang calling card niya kahapon. Not that he's obligated to contact her or anything. Isip nito.
It's 12PM now, kakatapos lang nito sa class niya na straight simula first period kaya hindi niya nasabihan agad si Tres. She preferred not going back sa CHK pero she found herself going there anyway.
Gusto niyang sabihan muna si Tres bago man siya mag gawa ng desisyon, lalo na't she already knows he feels guilty about what happened.
Today, she knew better. Nag-earphones ito bago pa man pumasok sa CHK building to avoid hearing unnecessary things. Hindi niya alam kung paano niya hahanapin ang class ni Tres pero bahala na, sana ay may makasalubong siyang kateam nito.
Wala siyang nakasalubong. She's almost at the end of the hallway pero wala talaga, she was about to turn back ng may lumabas sa pintuan sa kanan niya. It was Tres.
"Hi. I was looking for you." Bati ni San habang inaalis ang earphones nito at inilagay sa tote bag.
He blinked at her before greeting, "Hi. What's up?"
Tumabi sila sa may bintana para wala sila sa daan, "I wanted to tell you na the dean summoned me mamayang 1:30. I just wanna give you a heads up before I meet her."
"Do you want me to come with you?" He asked before slipping a hand inside the pocket of his chinos. He's wearing a black shirt today.
"Do you want to?" She asked. "I just wanna tell you. I should've asked for your number kahapon kasi I wanted to give you a heads up since baka meron kang class."
"But you have my number." Saad nito, "I texted you last night."
Napakunot ang noo ni San, "I didn't receive anything." Sabi nito habang kinukuha ang phone nito sa bag. She unlocked it and checked her messages. Wala itong text na unknown number kaya pinakita niya ito kay Tres. "See. I didn't receive any."
Tres' eyebrows furrowed before getting his phone and after a few taps, he showed it to San.

"Oh no. Hindi ko natanggap!" Sambit ni San habang tinitingnan ang nasa screen ng phone ni Tres at tinitingnan ang sa kanyang phone pabalik-balik.
"It's fine. Give me your number, I'll miss call you now." Sambit ni Tres bago i-dikta ni San ang number nito.
"The number you have on your calling card is not the same as the one you dictated." Sambit ni Tres matapos patayin ang tawag kay San.
"Weh? Let me see?" Tiningnan nito ang phone ni Tres. "Hala! Oo nga! I gave you my old one! Sorry, Tres!"
Tres looked at her with his brows furrowed, "Tres?"
"Hm?" San looked up at him from his phone.
