Baekhyun - Anniversary

"Jagiya," A soft voice cooed, a gentle push on your arm woke you up. "Good morning~"

You sat up, squinting at the figure in front of you. When your eyes adjusted to the light coming from your bedroom window, you smiled at the boy peering into your face.

"Morning Baekkie~" You chirped groggily, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him closer.

As you pulled him towards you, he balanced himself with one knee on the bed, whilst his hands found their home around your waist. He delicately placed a kiss on your cheek, pulling out of the hug and tracing his fingers down your arms to your hands.

"I have a few surprises for you today," He grinned, intertwining his fingers with yours. "And the first one's downstairs."

You struggled to understand what these 'surprises' were for. It wasn't your birthday, or his for that matter. But then it clicked...

"Oh yeah, it's our anniversary." You pulled a hand free and ran it through your hair.

Baekhyun stood up, tugging on your hand to stand with him. You reluctantly pulled off the comfy and warm covers, shivering as you got out into the cold room. You were only wearing one of Baekhyun's t-shirts and a pair of random pyjama shorts, so the cold chill throughout the house hit you at every angle.

Baekhyun guided you down the creaky stairs and all the way to your kitchen, where for a moment he stopped in front of you, masking the surprise waiting for you. The room smelt like food, so you had a wild guess at what was down here.

"Now," He smiled, letting go of your hand. "Don't scream too loud."

Whilst you just stood there, confused as anything, Baekhyun moved out of the way to reveal a beautiful sight.

Your long, white, usual empty dining table was now covered with copious amounts of food and rose petals. On the table was a plethora of scrumptious, goodness, for example: Waffles, toast, bacon, eggs, pancakes, fruit, muffins, bagels, croissants and much more.

You turned around with a wide smile, staring at a proud Baekhyun, leaning against the door frame.

"I-I-Is this...for m-me?" You stuttered, not sure what to say.

Before you got an answer, you turned back to look at the arrange of mouth-watering foods that made your stomach growl.

"Yep," He chuckled, wrapping his arms around your waist, back-hugging you tightly. "All for my princess."

You leaned your head back onto his shoulder, laying your hands on his. The two of you stayed like that for a while, until you decided it was time to eat - actually, your stomach forced you to.

"Mmmm!!" You hummed, licking off some syrup that was on your lip from the waffle you just ate.

"You like it?" Baekhyun raised his eyebrow, stuffing a piece of buttered toast into his mouth, biting into it.

"Ohfm coorsh!!" You fought your way through the waffle, swallowing large pieces in order to speak.

He just laughed, laying his toast on his plate and brushing off any crumbs from his hands. Baekhyun sat forward, staring at your lips. He raised his thumb to your bottom lip, gently brushing something off. You suddenly felt a little numb at his touch, encaptured by his bright smile.

Even after years of being together, little things like that still gave you butterflies.

"Thank you," You blushed, overlooking at all the empty plates sprinkled over the whole table. "For everything."
