You anxiously waited, sitting on the sofa and jerking your knee up and down nervously. You were waiting for Xiumin to come home from practise, because you wanted to confront him about something - about how you think he's cheating on you. You'd been feeling this way for a while now after he'd suddenly become a little distant from you, going out almost every night and coming home very late. It made you feel self-conscious and unworthy, like Xiumin didn't love you anymore.
You looked at your watch quickly, biting your bottom lip softly. You tried to calm your racing heart down with long, deep breaths. It's okay, You thought, just calm down.
Stopping your leg from bouncing anymore, you stood up, pacing around in a small circle. You closed your eyes and breathed deeply, convincing yourself it was all going to be OK.
You heard a sudden clunk - keys in the door. A squeak filled your whole apartment with sound, followed by a familiar voice.
"Jagiya?" Xiumin's voice sounded a little strained and tired. "I'm home."
You froze, feeling a small bead of sweat drop down your back. Your heart began to race even more than it was, your mouth becoming dry. You watched Xiumin enter your living room, large duffle bag in hand, wearing his sweats and his hair all messy, but still, he was slightly sweaty. He set his bag down next to the sofa you had been sitting on, giving you a small, soft smile.
You slightly smiled back, forgetting why you were there. The thought then spread back into your mind like wildfire, burning the image of Xiumin kissing another girl into your brain.
"H-Hi." You stuttered, not quite sure how to start the conversation.
"Hey," He said softly, walking towards you. "Is everything OK?"
"Huh?" You jumped when he gently took your hands in his. "Oh, y-yeah. Jaljinaeyo."
He looked at you with an unsure expression, not quite buying your lie. Tell him! You yelled at yourself, wondering whether you should bring it up or not.
"Are you sure?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and studying you. "Do you feel ill?"
You shook your head, looking away from his concerned, dark eyes. He took a step back and sighed, still looking at you.
"Well, I'm gonna quickly take a shower." Xiumin ran a hand through his greasy hair and turned around.
You wanted to stop him so you could confront him, but nothing came out of your mouth. You just stood there, unable to speak, unable to move.
----
You decided to turn on the TV to distract you from all the thoughts circling your head. You heard the shower jet turn off and muffled thuds, soon a door opening. You heard Xiumin walk somewhere, probably to the bedroom and a door close.
Right, you thought. When he comes out of that room, you're going to confront him, got it?
You heard a door squeak open, and footsteps behind you.
"____-ah?" Xiumin asked, jumping over the sofa and sitting next to you. "Have you decided what's for dinner?"
You looked at him, your eyes widening at the lack of clothing he had on. All he had was a pair of skinny jeans on and that was it. His wet hair fell over his eyes messily, giving him a slightly mysterious and sexy look. You watched him sit back, letting you stare at his bare torso with a smirk.
"Umm..." Blushing, you looked away, not wanting him to look at you blush like this.
I can understand why girls are always around him, he's so damn attractive. You thought, trying your hardest not to blush even more.
