He's not bad.
He's just misunderstood.
No one knows him like you, because no one ever dared to delve into the dark pit named 'Kim Minseok', and even when they did no one ever got out without a scrape. Everyone thought he was some motorbike-riding-cold-hearted loner that hated all people walking on the earth, but what they didn't know was that underneath that hard, and seemingly unbreakable, outer layer was a funny and like-able boy in need for friend.

Today was just gonna be a usual day, following the hoards of tired students around school, attending lessons that will make no improvement to your grade, then finally getting home so you can relax and be your normal self.
But today was different.
You could feel a sort of aura to the school as you approached it, like a bad smell hovering over a bin when something inside had gone way past its sell-by date. As you walked through the gates and approached one of the small growing trees nearby - Chaerin, your best friend, and your's morning meet-up spot - a loud rumbling noise made its way through the school car park. Everyone either stopped and stared or hurried past, running into school. A dark red Ducati Streetfighter motorbike thundered round the car park, the leather-clad rider hiding behind a matching dark red helmet, visor down. The rider wheeled the bike round in a seemingly cocky circle before parking in a space by them self. All students around - including myself - stared at the mysterious person, slowly turning the motorbike quiet, then off. It seemed that the rider wasn't at all phased by the whispering crowds of swooning girls and impressed guys. The figure pulled off their gloves first, slowly undoing the buckle to the helmet beneath their chin. They pulled their helmet off to reveal the handsome face of the most notorious boy in school - Kim Minseok. No one called him that, everyone called him 'Xiumin'. If anyone were to call him by his real name, it would be his mother, that's if she wasn't scared of him too. He ran a hand through his dark and messy hair, his cold eyes slicing at the crowds, sending mixed messages. You had to admit it, you had a crush on the school's most well known bad boy. Little, nerdy you falling for a rebellious boy, it was bound to be doomed. But in that split second when his eyes landed on yours, you felt his harshness deep in the centre of his pupils soften slightly, soon returning to the bitter brown they always had been since he got there.
You didn't know what all the fuss was about, really. He was just a boy that rode a cool motorbike, had no friends and didn't really listen in class. The last bit was a lie actually, he's was very smart from what you'd heard in science class. But still, you didn't know why everyone says to be careful around him. What's the worst he could do? Hit you?
You continued to stare at him as the crowds departed, watching him slide off his seat, prop his motorbike up, gather all his things and head towards the school with a dark smolder. Whilst you were gawking at him, his eyes gripped yours again and you could've sworn you saw him smirk.
"Yah! ___!" Chaerin called out to you suddenly.
You reluctantly broke eye contact with Xiumin and turned around to face her.
"Oh, hey." You smiled at her as she took your arm and waltzed towards the building with the other students.
"I saw you staring at him." She teased with a giggle.
"Mwo?" You asked, as if you didn't know what she meant.
"You know exactly what I'm on about!"
——
No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't concentrate one bit in lesson.
It seemed that fate put all lessons with Xiumin in on your school timetable today, making everything impossible to focus on! Maths was a boring subject anyone, and no one took much notice of it.
