Xiumin - Stop Worrying!

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm good."

"A-Are you sure?"

"Ne, Xiumin-"

"If you're not, just tell me, okay?"

"FOR GOODNESS SAKE, XIUMIN, I'M FINE!!" You yelled and laughed at your boyfriend.

A couple of weeks ago, you were out at a party with Xiumin. On the way home, you tripped and somehow ended up breaking your leg, nothing too much. You'd just spent a while in Hospital, recovering from surgery and now you were free! But Xiumin hasn't stopped worrying since you fell, always asking if you were okay and just generally fussing over you.

"I'm just being helpful!" Xiumin chuckled in reply, helping you over to the sofa, kicking back the apartment door behind you.

"I appreciate that so much," You said, hopping over to the sofa, Xiumin clinging to your arm so you wouldn't fall, gently dropping you on the comfy sofa you'd missed. "But try to ease up on it, okay? I know you mean well, but sometimes...it's a little too much."

"Oh," Xiumin pouted slightly, looking down at his feet, making you feel bad. "Mianhae, Jagiya."

"Now, there is something you can do for me..."

Xiumin looked up slowly, a smile on his face.

"Could you choose a movie, grab some snacks and cuddle me pleeease~?" You asked in your cutest voice you could muster up.

"Why, of course I can, ma'am," Xiumin joked, bowing lowly and skipping off to the TV, turning it on and scanning the films beside it, picking one out. "But are you sure you're okay?"

"Ne~." You chuckled calmly, watching him place the DVD into the player and pressing a button.

"Just checking." Xiumin raised an eyebrow, hurrying off into the kitchen to fetch some snacks.

He abruptly returned with a bowl full of your favourite sweets, placing them on the coffee table you had your bad leg rested on and jumping next to you. The sudden weight of his body on the sofa made you jump, pushing your leg slightly, making you let out a small huff.

"Oh my God, are you alright?!" Xiumin hurriedly said, so much concern in his voice.

"Oh my God, I'm fine!" You mocked him with a laugh, snuggling into his chest and staring at the TV.

"You really do scare me, ___," He sighed, wrapping his strong arms around you and kissing the top of your head. "But I love you."

"I love you too, baby." You replied, inhaling the sweet, warm scent of his cologne.

You must have fallen asleep while watching the movie, because you woke up suddenly in your bed. The warm, morning sun was streaming in through the thin curtains beside you, illuminating your room.

Subconsciously, you lay back down sleepily and roll onto your side to snuggle up to Xiumin...But he wasn't there.

You open your eyes slowly and see nothing but his side of the bed empty, his sheets pulled up, but a little crumpled.

As you sit up, rubbing your eyes, you notice a smell wafting into your room. A smell that could only make your stomach grumble and thunder.

You hear the clattering sounds of plates and cutlery.

Slowly, you pulled back your duvet, the cold air hitting your arms. You swing your normal foot over the bed, followed by your healing leg. You blink through your drowsiness to try and find your crutches, spotting them the other side of your bedside table.
