Kai - Eat

That meeting seemed to go on forever. All it was about was the fact that the owners of the company you worked for were doing office checks and seeing if everyone was doing their job correctly and that every was to be on their best behaviour.

As if you weren't going through enough stress already. Recently, your work were demanding thousands of pages of writing from you a day, really working you to the bone. Often you'd leave work in tears, having to compose yourself on the train home so your boyfriend, Kai, wouldn't be concerned.

But today, you'd had enough.

Thankfully, it was the end of the day, so you angrily grabbed your bag and stormed out of the building. You hurried down the busy street, turning off into another busy street. With a tired frown on your face, you quickly walked towards the train station, fishing out the return ticket from your coat pocket. You started to walk a little slower as you arrived at the buzzing train station, breathing heavily and looking around frantically. You walked through, tucking a few stray hairs in front of your face behind your ear. You looked up at the big, black boards above the trains, informing all the public what times each train should be arriving and what places it stops at.

Quickly, you found the one you wanted, hurrying over to the ticket barriers as the train was to leave in a couple of minutes. You made your way through, running to the platform and jumping onto the train just before the doors closed, finding yourself a seat and sighing as you sat down.

"I'm home!" You tiredly wailed through the house, closing the door behind you.

You kicked off your shoes and peeled off your coat, placing it on a coat hook. You heard a few muffles coming from upstairs. Confused, you dropped your bag next to your shoes and ascended the stairs, looking around with a raised eyebrow.

You heard a mumbled curse word come from your room, the voice was Kai's. You slowly poked your head around the half open door, your eyes widening at the sight.

Kai was quickly packing things into a suitcase on top of your bed, occasionally checking his watch on the back of his wrist. Kai jumped as you cleared your throat, looking up at you with his harsh eyes. He seemed a little on edge, not like the laidback, sweetie you always knew.

"Hey." Kai sighed heavily, flipping the top of his suitcase over and zipping it up.

"W-What's this?" You asked as nicely as you could, pointing to the bags on the bed.

Kai ran a hand through his hair, walking around the bed and standing in front of you.

"It's my appa," He sighed, taking your hand. "He's been in a car accident out of town and my mother wants me over at the hospital he's at for a while. It'll only be for a few days, until he gets better. I tried to call you a million times earlier, but your phone was off."

"I was in a meeting," You sighed, rubbing your face harshly with your spare hand. "I am so sorry."

"Hey, is everything okay?" He asked, placing his hand against your cheek and looking into your eyes.

"Ne," You faked a smile.

"Don't lie to me, Jagiya." He whispered, pulling you into a tight hug.

And that was it.

You started to break down, sobbing uncontrollably into his chest, struggling to breathe. Kai just rubbed your back and whispered 'It's okay, everything's alright.' into your ear.

When you had calmed down, he pulled you out and glanced lovingly into your eyes, wiping your cheeks with his thumb.

"You can tell me about it if you want." He smiled gently.

"Aniya," You shook your head and sniffed. "You need to go."

"I can't leave you this upset!" He chuckled slightly, his hands trailing down your arms and to your hands.

"Y-Yes you can," You hiccupped. "Now you need to be with your father."

Kai stood up, raising his hand to his eyes and huffing. He peeked over at you, giving you a sad smile.

"Are you sure you don't want me to stay? I can always phone up-"

"Ne~!" You smiled weakly at Kai, who was getting ready to leave.

"Arraso," He dropped his suitcase at the bottom of the stairs and looked at you for a while. "If you decided you want to go out, stay safe. If you stay in, I want you to relax as much as you can. Listen to that playlist I made you while you have that bath, okay? You'll feel better. And whilst I'm gone, if you ever feel sad or annoyed, just indulge in that playlist, listen to it and enjoy it as much as you would with chocolate. Speaking of food - eat. I know you when you're sad, I know that you don't eat. So, will you be able to eat normally for me?"

You were nodding along to everything he was telling you, smiling every-so often.

"Arraso, oppa~!!" You managed to smile properly, wrapping your arms around his neck and hugging him so tightly, as if you'd never see him again.

"I love you so, so much, ___." He spoke softly into your hair, hugging your waist tightly.

"I love you even more." You sighed, breathing in the smell of his cologne.

After Kai had left (After lots of 'I love you's), you quickly jumped into the bath Kai had made you before he left. On the side of the bath and floor were rose petals and candles, on the floor right by the tap of the bath was a CD player, ready to be played. You noticed that Kai had laid a plate with your favourite chocolate bar on it on the corner of the bath. He really did care about you a lot.

You pressed play on the CD player and sat back in the bubble-filled bath, chomping on your favourite chocolate and closing your eyes.

The first song on was your favourite - Eat by Zion. T.

You smiled to yourself as you listened to the lovely melody filling your bathroom, singing along.

And for the first time in forever, you were finally able to relax.
