"Ew, who is that kid?" Ji-Na, your best friend, whispered to you, looking over at the new kid that walked into the class.
You'd heard that there was meant to be a new boy starting the term and that his name was Lay, but you hadn't heard anything about the boy himself. He shyly shuffled into the classroom, followed by the head, who shortly left. The boy seemed very shy and refused to look up, but from what you've seen of his face, he's surprisingly very attractive.
The teacher at the front stood up, clearing her throat so the class would settle down.
"Class," She called out. "I'd like you all to meet our new student, Lay. I do hope you all welcome him warmly to this school."
Under his hair, Lay quickly glanced around the room and when you saw his eyes on yours, you gave him a small, friendly smile. He just looked away, almost afraid of any human interaction.
"You can sit down right here, Lay." The teacher spoke gently into his ear, laying a hand on Lay's shoulder and herding him towards an empty chair in the row in front of you.
When the teacher turned her back on the class, a small, balled-up piece of paper was thrown at the back of Lay's head, followed by a few quiet snorts and giggles. Lay just rubbed the back of his head, not bothering to turn around and find the culprit.
You turned around to see 2 boys, Baekhyun and Chanyeol giggling at each other, obviously the ones that threw the paper. They both looked at you and stopped laughing, taking in your scowl.
"Please don't talk in class!" The teacher said in an annoyed tone as you sat forward, swirling around and raising an eyebrow at the class.

Down a half-empty corridor, you stood at you locker, pushing in a few books that you didn't need until tomorrow. The shuffling of feet passed you by, someone looking at all the lockers. You craned your neck to see that Lay was looking at all the locker numbers, occasionally looking down at a piece of paper in his hand - the locker number. He stopped a couple of lockers down from you, sheepishly opening the locker and inspecting it.
You couldn't help but smile at the innocent and adorable aura he had, looking back into your locker before he realized someone was watching you.
A loud thump on the locker next you made you jump. You looked up at the figure and internally scoffed at the boy before you.
"Wassup babe," Chen smirked, leaning coolly against the locker beside you, staring at you. "You haven't talked to me all day."
"There's a reason for that." You mumbled, pulling out a small folder from the hole in the metal structure.
Chen's been trying to get with you for a couple of weeks, but you honestly aren't interested at all. He's been flirting with you for a long time, and you really wish he'd just stop.
"Yah," He pouted a little, watching you close your locker softly. "What's it gonna take to get you on a date with me?"
"Hmm," You sighed, tapping your finger on your chin, thinking of a good comeback. "What's it gonna take to get you to leave me alone?"
"A date." He bit his bottom lip with a sleazy smile.
"Then I'm sorry to let you down for the...millionth time?" You smiled slightly. "It's a no, Chen."
You heard a small giggle from your side, turning around and looking over at Lay who was trying hard not to laugh. You smiled over at him, then turned back to Chen.
"Hey!" Chen suddenly became angry, pushing past you to get to Lay. "Stay out of this, nerd!"
Chen grabbed Lay's collar, yanking him forward with force.
