Chanyeol - Composition

You softly knocked on Chanyeol's bedroom door, being careful not to spill any of the hot chocolate in your hands.

He'd been in there for ages and you wondered what he was doing, so you decided to make an excuse to see how he was - to bring him a warm drink.

Laying your hand on the cool, brass doorknob and pushing it down, you entered the room and immediately stopped, a smile spreading over your lips.

Chanyeol was sitting with his back to you, headphones on, hunched over his keyboard and looking up and down at his computer screen back to the keys of his keyboard. The song seemed quite slow, his long fingers gracing the white and black keys with elegance, pressing down on them very gently.

You softly cleared your throat, watching Chanyeol jump and turn around, a shocked expression on his adorable face. He looked so tired, he really deserved a rest.

"Don't do that!" He groaned, pulling his headphones off of his ears and click something with his computer mouse.

"Mianhae!" You groaned back, slowly walking forward and setting the mug down on a clear space beside him.

"Gomawo," He grinned up at you, taking the mug from the table beside him. "Just what I needed."

You looked down at him. For some reason, seeing him with his hair all messy, in a baggy t-shirt and tracksuit trousers made you feel all slushy inside. His eyes were a little puffy and he looked as if he was about to fall asleep then and there.

"Hey, Mr. Sleepy-head," You chuckled softly, rubbing his back as he took a sip. "How about you stop being a little virtuoso and sleep? It's late and this will all be here tomorrow."

He groaned in reply, gulping down his hot chocolate and slowly placing it back.

"I have to get this done," He looked up at you with his sleepy eyes. "It's important."

"What is it?" You asked, peering at his computer screen.

Loads of squiggly, coloured lines were all over the place, signifying sounds that Chanyeol had recorded. It seemed very complicated to you, but you always admired his work.

He sighed, staring at you with his tired eyes, a soft smile playing on his soft lips.

"You really want to know?" He asked, running a hand through his fluffy hair.

You nodded looking down at him with a sweet smile. Chanyeol slowly stood up, stretching up and yawning. He shifted  to the side and plopped down onto his bed, letting you sit in the comfy, black chair he was sat in.

You swiveled yourself around, letting him sort something out on the computer. He took the headphones beside you in his gentle, big hands and placed them onto your head, softly caressing your cheek.

He quickly sat forward and laid a kiss on the tip of your nose, giggling when he sat back, blinking slowly.

He gestured towards the screen, which you turned to. He clicked something on the mouse and a slow, beautiful guitar riff filled your ears.

You'd heard this before.

Suddenly, you heard Chanyeol's sweet voice begin to caress your ears and you found yourself with your mouth wide open, all of your insides turning to mush. You knew he had a beautiful voice, but to hear it this pure was totally mind blowing. The song digressed, turning into an alluring and delightful piece of music with the worlds most gorgeous vocals to accompany it.

After the song had finished, a gentle voice made you jump.

"This is for you, Jagiya. I just wanted to remake this song for you. I love you, ___, I hope you love me too. Love from, your cheesy boyfriend, Chanyeol. Mwah~"

You turned your head to look at Chanyeol with your eyes misty with tears, but found him laying in his bed, sleeping soundly.

You waited for the song to stop and gently pulled the headphones away, resting them next to the keyboard. You got up without making a noise and crept over to him, pulling his covers over him tightly.

After you pulled the covers up, you just stared at his face, watching his furrow his eyebrows a little and smiling slightly. He was so cute when he slept, you could easily watch him sleep forever. So peaceful and happy-looking. You wondered what he was dreaming about. Probably about being on stage with all of his friends.

You pushed some of his hair out of his eyes and stroked his cheek very softly, as if any pressure was applied to his skin, it would break. You leaned forward, pressing your lips gently against his forehead, standing back and stroking his soft cheek one more time.

You stood back and looked at him for a little bit more.

You then realized you should be sleeping too, so you took the empty mug and made your way to the doorway.

You stopped before you left, switching off the lights, leaving the room in the dark, the light from the computer screen illuminating part of the room.

"I love you too, Chanyeol," You whispered, although he wouldn't be able to hear you. "Sweet dreams."

And so you left, gently closing the door behind you.

I'M SO SORRY!!! I'M SUCH A BAD AUTHOR-NIM!!!

I'm so sorry for the lack of updates, I've just been SUPER busy recently, but today was my last day of school for 2 weeks, so that means I can actually get to UPDATE!!!!! I'm also sorry for such a short imagine, but I think it's really sweet and cute and I am Chanyeol right now~

Also, please imagine the song is all sung by Chanyeol, because I couldn't really find any songs that he'd sung by himself, but I love this version of the song (the original is amazing too) but ughhhh!!!!

THE TEASERS ARE FINALLY OVER AND NOW THE AUDIO FOR 'CALL ME BABY' IS OUT!!!! I've only listened to a snippet of it, but I'm too scared to listen to the rest!! What do you guys think about it??

Anyways, I am hella tired and I will update 'Your Highness' soon, I promise!!
