S3: I'll Wait For You (1.4)

"After helping her to the guest bedroom, Seokhoon takes good care of the emotionally drained and physically stressed Rona by her bedside. He confesses a few things to her and even comments about his love for her only to find out she's been awake for quite sometime."

Entering the cottage with a unconscious Rona in his arms, Seokhoon is met by a worried Suryeon and Logan as they examine the female he was carrying.

'Eomma, I'll bring her upstairs.... Doctor Ha will be giving her an IV.'

Suryeon nods as she follows behind to open the door for her son.

'I'll leave you both alone then.'

Seokhoon gently lays the female on the huge bed and helps her remove her heels, he then gently tucks the blanket on her body and adjusts the bed.

Finally sighing, Seokhoon strokes the female's cheeks and touches her forehead to check if she had any fever at all.

Suddenly removing his hands off her, the door opens and a black attired Yoonchul enters with a IV kit on hand. Stepping back to let Yoonchul work he observes the new and unfamiliar scene of a daughter and father together.

Come to think of it, he wonders how his never noticed when the 2 people had quite a lot of similarities with each other.

Yoonchul gazes at Rona with concern and wipes the stray tears on her cheeks. Sighing he finally finishes the IV and turns to look at Seokhoon.

'I have a few things to do outside... Could you maybe take good care if her?She knows about me now.... It will make her uncomfortable so....'

Without letting Yoonchul finish his reasons, Seokhoon nods and silently sits beside Rona.

Getting up and glancing at his daughter for the last time, Yoonchul pats Seokhoon and nods with a sad smile.

Seokhoon gets up to sit in the armchair that Yoonchul occupied just a few seconds ago and holds onto her IV free hand. Stroking her hair while observing her features he sighs and fixes a lost strand of her black hair.

'What's wrong with you....? I heard from Yoo Jenny, that because of practice and all that... You haven't been eating and sleeping much. You've become thinner Rona yah. Don't starve yourself.... It's not healthy.'

'I'm sorry..... I don't honestly deserve this. To sit beside you and holding your hand while you sleep. I've hurt you a lot of times. So I was expecting maybe you'd never forgive me at all..... It hurts a lot everyday----

But I try to get you out of my mind. Don't fall sick and feel sad anymore. Mom and Logan.... Even your dad will be doing everything to claim justice for you and your mom. And although I don't deserve it, I'll do my best to help you as well..... So I can see that bright smile of yours again. I'm sorry Rona yah. '

With his head resting on the headrest of the armchair he suddenly feels a gentle but tight grip on his hands. Jolting up to look at Rona, he was met by a pair of hazel eyes who were staring right at him.

' I told you it wasn't your fault. '

Startled and flustered that Rona had heard everything he had said, he fails to think of a response.

Rona slowly gets up and wraps him into a embrace.

'I miss you everyday Seokhoon ah..... You know... I'll always be here waiting for you so don't be scared to come back. I love you because you are just you, Joo Seokhoon'

Feeling his heart twinge and tears flooding his eyes, Seokhoon knew he had already failed and lost.

Reciprocating the gentle hug, he holds onto her tiny waist and both cry together for all their sorrows and missed time.

There wasn't much said anymore after that. They had to face more tides and waves to come but what could they do?

They wanted a happy ending and they had to face it together.

That night ended with a few tears, confessions and apologies exchanged with another and a short little peck to make up for their short break up time from before.

We all know.... There are much more challenges to come.

So I wrote all these chapters in 1 hour since episode 10 comes out tomorrow. My theory and my imagination of what I want to happen.

I'll update on this book but updates in After Hera would be much frequent. Happy Reading Y'all
