Gently reaching out to take her hands in his, he strokes her skin with his thumb sweetly as if comforting and reassuring himself of her presence.

As his phone rings, his face darkens and he replies in his deadly low and serious tone nodding his head unconsciously as if preparing to  carry out a mission.

The wall clock makes a sound as the raindrops attacked the glass windows of the hospital room outside. Seokhoon stood up and starts to prep the hospital bed, not wanting to disturb the female he cautiously and gently pushes the heavy bed out of the suite and onto the entrance of the empty and silent emergency room entrance.

Meeting the familiar dashing middle aged man clad in all leather black, he gently carries the unconscious female into his arms and swiftly but cautiously places her inside the car.

'Leave Rona to me..... You stay out of it.'

Before the man could turn his back, he found himself replying in his cold and icy glare.

'No.... I'll go with you, I can't trust anything the grown ups say until I see it with my own eyes.'

Disregarding a reply, the tall male turns his back on the elder man and swiftly enters the white car to take the sleeping female into his arms.

Never again was he going to leave her alone. After turning his back and losing her too many times, he had grown a protective instinct to never let her out of his sight.

Mission Accomplished!!!

After the deed was done and justice served. Seokhoon found himself beside her 90% of the time. From taking care of her in the hospital to accompanying her at school, hanging out with her at home and doing little things that most young couples would do.

They could finally be happy... At least so he thought.

She had lost her mother in the most unexpected and tragic way.

Not being able to do anything, he could only watch and cry with her. Holding her and protecting her with his arms away from the evil eyes of media and harmful people.

Shielding and holding onto her broken soul.

Holding her hands as she stared at nothingness inside the chapel where her mother's ashes where placed. The mix scent of flowers from the floral wreaths and burning of the incense sticks almost suffocated him.

She had refused to eat, sleep or even drink. He could only stay by her side and hold her in his arms as she fall into a cycle of breakdowns.

Then in a matter of a few months, he also had to exchange his soul to the devil. In order to protect those who he so love and cared for.

Tears trickled down his eyes as he gazed at her tear filled ones.

So near yet so far.... They were now officially broken up.

Letting her go and watching her bloom in a distance. Unable to celebrate or congratulate her as she smiled and laughed with the others.

What matters is that she's happy and finally a few steps closer to her dreams.

After all that, everything had soon came into a full circle.

Hera Palace crumbled, his father dead and all the evil disappear in a swift snap.

The war was over, but he had also now lost his mother.

Now that was left.... Time, started it's work and let fate and destiny decided what was to come next.

They say time heals all wounds.... Indeed it does.

For the next 3 years they had reconnected but it was something that never truly blossomed into something other than friends.

She had become a bright and famed Primadonna whilst he a famed dashing pianist as they had both deserve.

"My feelings grew after I met you
Just friends that’s not enough for me First time feeling my heart race

He had longed and kept his feelings to himself. Loving and adoring her secretly, well not really secretly in a distance.

Respecting and supporting her as a friend, he smiled with pride and affection at her sweet and colorful victory.

It wasn't until she had asked him to accompany her as pianist for her first ever first performance in their home country that he actually jumped in excitement and happiness that he quickly stuffed his luggages and boarded a flight from Vienna to Seoul as soon as possible.

Seated in front of her after 3 years of longing and watching from a distance. He smiles and gazes at the matured woman in front of him.

But as they bury themselves in a slightly awkward but friendly conversation, the bubbling feeling simply started to boil and simmer. Until he himself knew.... Enough was enough.

Taking the gift box out of the paper bag, he handed it to her from across with a giddy smile and smirk.

Inside, she discovers a beautiful doll and the keys to his home in Vienna.

That was it..... Another one of his indirect and in a way clear proposal and way of telling her or giving a hint of his feelings and affections for her.

"I'm ready to love....
Tell me
Can we stay together?

I'm a fool of love for you my heart is forever by your side."

Eventually, Seokhoon couldn't contain his feelings anymore as he blurts out his direct confession.

'I missed you... Rona yah.'

'I missed you too.'

With her reply, he gazed at her from across as his lips start to curve up into a dashing and charismatic smile.

Unable to keep the bursting feelings to himself, he jolts up and leans forward to capture her lips in his.

They go well together, her cherry flavored lipstick and her rosy lips molded into his in blissful perfection.

Closing his eyes after looking at hers for the first time up close, a real and happy smile finds itself on his face as he passionately pours all his pent up longing and love for her in that single round of lip locking.

In conclusion, they finally achieved the happily ever after they hardly and after so many dark days sought for.

She was his escape, his home and the warmth that kept his heart beating and soft.

Finally, the satisfaction and relief that fell upon him.

They were no longer friends.... But lovers and I guess it's safe to say this time they were both more than ready to love.

Anyway, this is sort of like a accumulation and short summary of their tumultuous love story that had a bit of angst and fluff mixed into it cause I know.... A lot of you guys hate me for the last few angsty chapters 💖🤣😭
