The bright sunlight slightly blinds Rona as she opens her eyes and stretches her arms.

Turning to look at the male beside her, she smiles and silently observes his handsome and peaceful features.

It was a free day today hence they were allowed to wake up late and simply chill and stay at home.

Carefully sitting up the cozy bed, Rona looks at her bedside. Her eyes widen at the date..... September 24th 2026.

It was Seokhoon's 22nd birthday today. How could she forget?

Rushing up from the bed and cautiously escaping the male's embrace. Rona rushes to the kitchen and starts whipping up breakfast.

Today was special and she wanted to start his day with a beautiful home cooked breakfast in bed.

Whipping up some pancakes and the typical romantic strawberry dipped in melted chocolate, she paired it with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and set them up on a beautiful wooden tray with a bunch of fresh flowers.

Slowly carrying the tray into the bedroom, Rona silently places it on the vanity table and sits on the bed.

Laying down beside him, she reaches out and sweetly fixes his messy bangs to the side.

This little action causes Seokhoon to slightly open his eyes, he gently grins and smiles at the sight of his girlfriend.

'Good morning....'

Rona whispers in her hushed but still affectionate voice. Seokhoon nods and smiles as he holds her hands and squeezes it.

'Good morning.... What's up with you always being so beautiful during mornings. I might have a heart attack if you keep waking me up like that.'

Rona smirks but soon escapes the male's grip to go and take the perfectly set and decorated tray. Placing it on a mini bed table, she grins and looks at Seokhoon' s reactions.

The male could only smile and look at his girlfriend with a confused gaze.

'Whoa!!! Breakfast in bed? What's the occasion?'

Rona pouts and slightly sulks at the thought of Seokhoon forgetting his own birthday.

Speaking with her high tone voice, she replies with a pout.

'How do you forget your own special day? It's your birthday 바보 야 (babo yah)!!!'

Finally remembering that today was in fact his birthday, Seokhoon doesn't really smile but keeps his normal awkward face.

Noticing his silence and unresponsiveness, Rona softens her voice and timidly asks.

' Why? Do you not like it? '

Snapping out of his dark thoughts, Seokhoon shakes his head and chuckles. Looking up at her hazel eyes, he grins and takes her hands in his.

'No....of course not, I love your surprise. Thank you very much for preparing all this. It's just that.....'

Noticing his hesitance, Rona smiles and squeezes his hands as a sign of reassurance.

Smiling at his girlfriend, he gathers all his courage and sighs as he continues his explanation.

' It's just that I've never once properly celebrated my birthday.... You see, to me it's just a hellish day for me to be reminded that I am the son of the devil and I always hated that fact.'

Finally understanding his point, Rona sighs and gets up from her side of the bed and swiftly switches to his side. Without a word said, she kneels on the soft mattress and engulfs the male in a comforting and sweet hug.
