S3 Minhyuk The Spy (22.2)

Closing up his phone, Lee Minhyuk sighs in frustration as he runs his hand on his hair.

Silently whispering to himself. He lets out small curses and leans his head on the pillar in annoyance.

'Ugh!!! Joo Seokhoon.... That jerk is making life so hard for me these days.

Aish!!! This is so stressful!'

Suddenly remembering something, he opens his phone yet again and types furiously.

TO: YOO DONGPIL AJHUSSHI

'Ajhusshi, I've successfully handed Jenny the bag and clothes you gave me.

Jenny is currently with Rona at the study café and they seem to be okay.

I've attached the pictures I took of her over the last week.'

Lee Minhyuk groans as he internally speaks to himself.

' Wa!!! What's with everyone that they keep on making me a spy?

At this point they should just hire me to be girl sitters. Aish!!! Because of Joo Seokhoon I'm beginning to look like a huge fool in front of Rona.

Then because of Jenny's dad I'm becoming a clingy male... Aish!!! That wasn't my image to begin with. '

Plastering a bright smile, Lee Minhyuk collects himself and walks a bee line to the counter. After taking the newly brewed cup of coffees. He fake chuckles as he approached the two females.

' Here are the still hot and newly brewed coffees for the two fair maidens.'

Jenny rolls her eyes and doesn't even bat him an eye, after a simple and cold response. Jenny turns her attention back to Rona and the two friends chat away yet again as Minhyuk's presence basically fades into the background.

Meanwhile, at the tall yet cold and dreadful building of JK Holdings in the midst of the busy city of Seoul.

Joo Seokhoon dressed in his black suit and suffocating black tie sat in his dark office alone as he smiled and grinned while gazing at his phone.

It was probably the first time he truly and sincerely smiled today eversince he started work for the morning.

On his screen was the few candid photos sent to him by the one and only Lee Minhyuk.

After breaking up with Rona, Seokhoon had avoided seeing her or even showing up in front of her. And although it hurt him to coldly leave her like that. The male just couldn't settle down without the anxiety of thinking what she's feeling or going through.

At first he got little updates from his mother, sometimes nonchalantly acting cold and acting uninterested. But inside his heart he wanted to know more, hence one day while coming home to Hera Palace after a long day being hus father's slave.

As he parked his car in the parking lot, he somehow managed to see the infamous trio.

There they were.... Lee Minhyuk, Yoo Jenny and Bae Rona entering the building after presumably finishing shopping since Minhyuk was literally struggling as he carried so many paper bags from famous make up and female dress brands helplessly following behind the 2 females.

Somehow, Joo Seokhoon puts two and two together and at that same night. He rings up Minhyuk and literally summons him to the community room with a new plan in mind.

'Ya!!! Joo Seokhoon, it's literally 11:30 pm.... What crazy person calls up someone and forces them to meet. I was already sleeping.'

Minhyuk nags as he enters the community room wearing his full luxury set silk striped blue pajamas while gripping on his phone.

Sitting on one of the couches, Seokhoon doesn't even look at the male as he holds up a huge white paper bag and chucks it at the male.

Confused and puzzled, Minhyuk looks up at the former pianist and slowly his face shift from pure annoyance to happiness.

'What...?

What is this? Is it for me? Awe, you didn't have to---'

Stopping Minhyuk from his words, Seokhoon shakes his head and glances at the male with his cold and serious face.

'Give that to Rona and say it's from you. It's her birthday in 4 days so you better not forget it.

Oh!!! And make sure to send me photos and report to me afterwards but.... Don't make it obvious and tell anyone that your doing this on my orders.'

Baffled, speechless and probably annoyed more than ever. Lee Minhyuk had his mouth slightly opened and his expression the simple definition of aghast.

' Wait.... What!!?? '

Shrugging his shoulders, Seokhoon loosens his black tie and arches his eyebrows.

'Starting today you'll be keeping tabs on Rona for me.

Don't you dare tell anyone or else you know what will happen.

Also, make sure to take care of her and protect her when something happens. Report to me as much as you can and send me photos or even videos.

Just don't get yourself caught, but do not.... don't touch or do anything to her or your neck will end up in my hands. '

Minhyuk scrunches his face as he glances at his former friend in disbelief.

Scoffing and finally replying with his high toned voice.

'Are you asking me to stalk and keep an eye on Bae Rona?

What... Do you think I'm some creep. Why don't you just do it yourself?
She's your girlfriend.....

Oh wait!!! She's not anymore.'

Turning his head and sending his infamous icy glare towards the flustered Minhyuk.

Seokhoon sighs and explains as he stands and turns his body to face the other male.

' It's easy for you though isn't it....?

Don't you spy on Yoo Jenny for her dad?

How about we make a deal? You also keep tabs on Rona for me and then I won't tell Jenny that you've been secretly following her around because her father got you to do so.'

Minhyuk leaps up and almost had to kneel as he shakes his head and plasters on a obedient expression.

' Fine, fine.... I'll do it!!!

Just please don't tell Jenny anything.... Once she finds out, her dad will kill me and I won't be able to live freely in Hera Palace while he continues to live here.'
