Seokhoon was in panic....

If he were to move Rona to the elevator and try to escape with her. It would lead to more blood loss and the probability of her dying on the way was more than high.

He had realized then that there was only one ending in their story.

Seokhoon didn't want to accept it.... But he just knew he couldn't change what fate had intended to do to them.

'Seo---seokhoon ah.... Please!!!! Ju---just go and join the others in the bunk--er.'

Her breathing was slow and her skin pale and covered in a shine layer of her cold sweat.

At her request, Joo Seokhoon shaked his head violently and weeped.

'I'm not going to leave you here.... It'll be the same story all over again. Don't do this to me... Rona yah.

If we aren't fated to be together in this life... Then I'll gladly stay with you and end my life together with you.'

Rona tears up and with the remaining strength in her, she reaches her hand up to cup the male's cheeks.

She slowly wipes the tears from his cheeks and shakes her head.

'Can't you please just... Li-listen to me for once?

You still have--- so much to--- li--live for, I ca-an be with my mom once I leave this world.'

Seokhoon shakes his head as he leans down to wrap the female in an embrace, stroking her hair he silently whispers.

'You must hate me then.... I cannot imagine a life without you in it.

I would be tormented for the rest of my life If I leave you alone in this place again.....

Life and fate is so cruel, how can this exact same scene repeat all over again?

Rona could only close her eyes as she let her tears freely flow down her eyes. It hurts... Hurts too much.

The stinging pain in her abdomen and   the scorching burn inside her head. She had started to feel light headed.

As the alarms of Hera Palace continued to ring, Bae Rona whispers in her weak voice.

'Sss---seokhoon ah... Me---eting you was such a dream, and I just wanted you to know that if I had a choice.... I wo---uld love to mee---et you again in my ne--ext life.'

Gulping in his sorrow, Seokhoon escaped from the embrace and lays the female on his chest. He gazed down at her hazel eyes and smiled ever so gently.

'And loving you.... Was the best feeling I've ever felt in my whole life. I loved you then and will love you forever.

Thank you for appearing and changing my life....'

He had said it... It was a straightforward confession, but it didn't matter much anymore right?

As Rona smiled gently, she glanced at his eyes for the last time and whispers for the last time.

'I wi-will always love you as well.... Joo Seokhoon.'

With a gentle smile, the female let's go of her life and let's the heaviness of her eyelids close her eyes. It all happened in slow motion.... Her body goes limp and her head falls limp onto his chest.

That's when Seokhoon finally let's loose and weeps. He cries for her and tries to deny her demise.

Wrapping her cold and lifeless body in his arms, he cries and calls her name.

This time though... She would never respond or reply.

It took him a few minutes to cry and let out the pain from the new and fresh scars of his newfound grief.

But soon after, he sat there with her cold body in his arms motionless and dazed. Gently pecking her forehead, he lays his head on her shoulder and holds onto her cold hands.

It was then when a familiar voice calls out for him, then it happened..... A gunshot sound rang out inside the penthouse and the whole building shook violently for a minute or so.

'JOO SEOKHOON!!!!'

Logan's shocked voice didn't even affect him. Kneeling down onto the bloodied marble floor, Logan's eyes immediately filled with tears as he observes the lifeless female in Seokhoon's arms.

'Wha--what happened here?'

Seokhoon didn't reply, instead he held onto her tighter. Logan didn't even have time to ask further, he quickly enters the penthouse after and quickly returned with an injured Suryeon beside him.

She was shocked at the scene outside and had quickly realized that Yoonhee's daughter.... Rona has now went ahead to join her mother.

But there was no time to grieve, kneeling down the floor despite her injured leg... Suryeon tries to pull her son with her.

But he didn't budge... Even Logan tried to persuade him to come with them.

Seokhoon glanced at his mother with glossed eyes and shakes his head.

'Just go eomma.... I won't ever come with you. Tell Seokkyung to live life well, and please take good care of yourself.'

Suryeon shaked her head and begs her son to rethink his decision but nothing was to be changed or done.

Seokhoon speaks for the last time and gently smiles at his mom.

'I would eventually die later..... Go and live life eomma, I---I can't live a life without her.

She's my life, I owe it to her.'

Looking down at Rona's lifeless face, Suryeon tears up and finally understands but as a mother she still had to save her own child.

But the building starts shaking and Logan knew that it was either of the two.

Die while trying to convince Seokhoon who wasn't ever goung to budge or live and escape right now.

Sighing, Logan forcefully pulls Suryeon in the elevator and speaks with Seokhoon for the last time.

'Take care Seokhoon ah.... I respect your decision, I'll take good care of your mom and Seokkyung.... That, I promise.'.
