This multi shot follows S3 Ep 05, in my opinion.... A stolen narrative from us. I made a continuation for Seokro cause it was never really shown or explained in the drama how Seokhoon helped Rona or even comforted her

---------------------------------------------------------

Sobs filled the dark morgue. Suryeon eventually managed to calm herself after a few minutes of shock, grief and anger attacking her right into her soul.

Gazing at Yoonhee's lifeless yet bruised face, Suryeon whispers silently.

'I'll do everything to catch whoever did this to you. Fly high, Yoonhee yah....'

Gently taking the white duvet, Suryeon slowly covers up Yoonhee's body and tries to compose herself.

Turning bacl, she could barely endure her tears at the sight of Rona weeping on her son's arms.

What surprised her though....was the fact that even Seokhoon was crying. Well.... more like tearing up.

Looking up at his mother, Seokhoon could not say anything. He simply hugged the weeping girl in his arms and be there for her.

After a few minutes, Rona's sobs had started to stop. Although, it wasn't fully gone... she was trying to take in everything that had just happened in a span of a few minutes.

I mean.... how on earth? Just how on earth does someone start accepting their mother's death in just a few minutes!!?

Rubbing Rona's shoulder gently, Seokhoon speaks in a soft tone.

'Rona yah... It's cold here, you might get a cold. Let's go out.....

Eomma will take care of everything.'

With tears glossed over her eyes, Rona could only nod as she glanced at her mother's covered silhouette.

Seokhoon could only sigh sadly as he held her and helped her exit that darned room.

While Suryeon went to fix everything, they were given a private room to wait for her.

Rona had given up all rights and duty to Suryeon for the investigation of her mother's death.

Suryeon, being the warrior that she is... Immediately requested that an autopsy be made. To fully start answering perhaps... What may have transpired during that last few seconds of Yoonhee's life.

Inside the private waiting room, Seokhoon could only wrap his arm around the silent and shocked female.

He absolutely hated it.... He hated how he couldn't do anything to comfort her or even make anything better.

Knowing and understanding that no words could possibly help comfort what Rona was feeling right now, he chose not to say anything but be there for her instead

It wasn't until she broke the silence with her small voice....

'Seokhoon ah.... Why!!? Just why did you think this happened?

Mom's dead now.... Yet everyone is saying she deserves it... I just don't get it.'

Startled and alarmed, Joo Seokhoon didn't know what to reply. So instead of ranting about anything. He simply tightened his embrace on her and replied in a hushed tone.

'아니야 (aniya)..... Your mom was a great woman. She had her fair share of mistakes but the way I know it.... Your mom was one of the greatest and most courageous woman I've ever came to know.'

Sniffling and trying to control her tears, Rona couldn't resist her emotions. The realization had finally creeped in to her heart.

'Seokhoon ah..... I'm finally alone again, this time it can't and won't ever be undone.

She's not coming back... And I'm ---- I'm finally an orphan.'

And then she finally falls into another fit of sobs.... An emotional breakdown as we would usually call it.

At that exact moment, Joo Seokhoon also couldn't take it anymore and gently leans down to engulf the female into his warm embrace.

Caressing her hair and gently pecking her head, the male whispered whilst tearing up in a rather shaky voice.

'No..... Please no....
Don't say that Rona yah.... Your not alone. I'm right here beside you so you're not alone.

I'll be with you so please don't....
If it makes you better, I'm also an orphan. I don't have my real mother with me and my father is....'

Sighing, Seokhoon pulls away from the embrace and cups his girlfriend's cheeks. Gently wiping the tears away from her face, Seokhoon continues with his soft voice.

'If something also happens to you Rona yah.... I swear....

That--- that would really be the end of me. The world hasn't ended for you yet. I'll be beside you all the way. You need to be strong. I'm sure Yoonhee ajuhmma also wants the same for you.'

And so the day went on with no one actually managing to take the news. Suryeon had made it her mission to plan out Yoonhee's funeral. Just so she could also distract herself from the grief.

Silently driving through the busy roads, Suryeon's eyes were swollen. She had opted to stay silent and turn off the radios.

Looking up at the mirror, she sneaks a peak at her son and Rona who sat together in the backseat.

Rona was evidently exhausted and filled with dread. Her eyes were red and there were still tears streaming down her eyes.

Seokhoon meanwhile sat beside the female, holding her hand ever so gently trying to be a comforting presence for her.

Clearing her throat, Suryeon fakes a smile and speaks.

'Rona yah.... You should probably stay with us in the Penthouse for now. The situation is a bit---'

Getting cut off by Rona's shaky voice, Suryeon turns her eyes back to the road as she listens to the female.

'It's ok, Ajhumma.... I can handle it---'

This time Rona was the one being cut off. Seokhoon interjects into the conversation and scoots closer to the girl.

Holding her hand, he speaks with a concerned tone.

'No!!! You should stay in the Penthouse tonight Rona yah...'
