Based on the drama Penthouse
Most of these one-shots will be for our Seokro couple.
This is a little reimagined one shot book of what might have been in Author 🍑's perspective.
Author's note :
Penthouse characters...
Walking in on Rona and Suryeon's conversation. Seokhoon crosses eyes with his girlfriend as she swiftly avoids his eyes and walks out quickly.
Looking back at her retreating back for a few seconds. Seokhoon turns back to his mom and sighs as he speaks.
'I'll take Rona to the hospital. She hasn't even had even a drop of water for days.
I need to at least get her an IV. '
Smiling sadly, Suryeon nods and replies.
' Okay, good idea. '
Nodding at his mother, Seokhoon turns back and starts to walk away until he turns around yet again and asks in a low voice.
' How about you.... Are you okay, mom? '
Suryeon plasters on a smile and replies with her forced bright voice.
' Of course! Go take care of Rona. See you later.'
Satisfied with his mother's answer. Seokhoon grips onto Rona's jacket and nods as he heads off towards Rona's room.
Opening the closed door, he sighs as he gently knocked on the door to signal that he was about to enter.
She laid on her bed with her back faced to him as she silently stared blankly on the framed picture of her and Yoonhee that hanged on the wall near her bedside.
Approaching her cautiously, Seokhoon gently sits on the edge of the bed and clasps his hands together.
'Rona yah.....'
Still not budging or saying anything, Seokhoon decides to continue with a gentle and comforting voice.
'Aren't you really gonna eat? You haven't had even a drop of water for days.
At this point, you'll faint and get sick soon.
Let's go to the hospital and get at least an IV.'
Unable to wait any longer. Seokhoon scoots near Rona and gently holds onto her shoulders to turn her around.
What he saw simply broke his heart.
As he turned her body towards him. The female laid there gripping onto the small pink pillow with eyes shut and tears streaming down her pale cheeks.
Not being able to take it much longer, Seokhoon swiftly holds her up and lays her head on his chest.
And for the next few minutes, he whispers hushed words of comfort and gently rocks her to calm her down.
Laying his chin on the crown of her head, he whispers with teary eyes.
'Rona yah... I know it's hard
I know how it feels, it's the burning pain of regret and grief that scorches your heart.
But if you keep on doing this.... You will also be in danger.
I....... I don't want to lose you as well. Can we please go to the hospital?'
Reluctantly nodding her head, Rona didn't have the energy to fight back anymore as she laid on her boyfriend and let her hair cover her face.
Squeezing her shoulder gently, Seokhoon breathes out a sigh and swiftly carries the female up bridal style.
Letting her rest her head on his shoulder. He leans in and sweetly pecks her forehead to reassure her.
'Hold on tight.... Okay?'
And so off they went, Seokhoon made it seem so easy as he carried the female and held her coat on his arms.
Exiting the apartment, he manages to press the elevator and exits through the parking lot.
Thankfully, Suryeon had ordered one of her personal drivers to wait for them hence Seokhoon didn't need to drive anymore and instead focused more on taking care of his weak and still grieving girlfriend.
Propping her up to sit on the backseat of the black Cadillac car, Joo Seokhoon soon follows in and protectively wraps the female in his arms.
After that, he turns his head towards the driver and orders with a low and serious voice.
'Let's go to Cheong Ah Medical Center.'
By the time they arrived at the hospital, Rona had already fell asleep in his arms.
Cautiously and gently holding her up, Seokhoon carried her bridal style and laid her on a stretcher that had already been awaiting their arrival.
After explaining to the doctors in the emergency room. Rona was examined and transferred to a private VIP suite. Seokhoon had been asked to wait outside as doctors and nurses entered to prepare her IV and also add more medicine into her drip.
They had apparently found out, that her health had declined fast and she had suddenly succumbed into a high fever.
Fearful of her state, Seokhoon had let the doctors and nurses attend to her as he paced the hallway outside. Sometimes peeking in through the small glass of the sliding door.
But as doctors concluded that she had to be confined for a while. The nurses and medical technicians quickly changed her into a white hospital gown and set the new IV drip up to help the numerous nutrients and medicine enter her system.
After a few minutes, the head doctor of the CheongAh Medical Center comes out of the suite and bows his head politely to greet the dashing and tall male.
'Is Rona ok? I've been briefed that she needs to be confined.... Is it serious, doctor?'
Taking off his glasses, the elder doctors scrunches his face and clasps his hands as he shakes his head and explains to the male.
'You have indeed brought Ms. Bae in at the right time.
It would have been far worse had it been too late. She is currently suffering from a high fever partly caused by exhaustion.
Considering she has not ate or drank water for a few days already. We have opted on a IV drip instead.
Also, the most important thing that you might have to look out for is the huge possibility of hallucinations. '

Usually it would be so dengie style to release all the chapters all at once but since the 3rd chapter of this one shot hasn't been completed.... I'm only updating the first one for now.
