"Get up," Dean grumbled as he shook you. "It's time," He said as he sat up himself. You woke up with a start and it actually took your heartbeat a minute to calm down before you caught your breath and stretched a little. The room was still dark though it was almost ten in the morning already. Somewhere around morning when the sun had come up and John had come to your room to wake you up, you remembered Dean had gotten up to pull up the curtains and had told John that you'd sleep for a little longer before getting back in bed. You'd gotten back pretty late and were both tired. The ride back was awkward and tense so you hadn't even been able to get a shuteye in the car after your argument.
You sighed as you stretched again and finally sat up. Dean looked at you and for a second, you thought he'd lean in and kiss you from the look he had in his eyes. It was like looking at a long lost friend, someone you'd spent months to years in your childhood together and you'd just ran into each other. It was as if you were both staring at each other in disbelief for a second, to take in the features and connect them with the image in your memories, debating whether you know them or not, whether you should say hello or not, whether you should stop and let them make the move or just walk away.
You were the first to look away after you noticed that though Dean did look like he was about to kiss you, there was a slight tinge of accusatory look in his eyes as if you had ruined everything and now it was on Dean to fix it for the both of you. In a way, you thought so too.
"I'll go get something to eat, you go get in the shower." He said and got up from the bed. Before you could decide upon anything to say, he had already put on his jeans and jacket and had left. You sighed and got up as well. You gulped down some water, suddenly feeling thirsty and as you drank, you noticed how tired you still were and how your feet were hurting as if your nerves were just now waking up all at once. You realized you were wearing Dean's T-Shirt, which you had no recollection of putting on, and wondered if that's what Dean was looking at. You sighed and groaned, sat down on the bed, groaned some more and finally decided to freshen up and get in the shower.

You had just about stepped out of the shower when you heard a knock on the bathroom door. It was John as he called out for you. You quickly got dressed and got out only to see John putting up stuff on your bed. "Where's Dean?" He asked, sounding agitated.
"He went out to get breakfast about a-"
"Breakfast?" He said, looking back at you. "Is he out of his damn mind? There are already people at the chapel and he's getting breakfast." He grumbled and held a garment bag in front of you. "Put this on, and comb your hair better." He said. "It's rental, don't get anything on it."
You didn't say anything and just took the bag from him, taking the suit out of it. It was a regular suit and though the fabric felt cheap and worn, the colour caught your eye and you absolutely loved it. It was light blue, almost pastel, but with a little depth in it. You quickly went to the bathroom to change into it after muttering a "thanks" to John who was still busy doing something else. You looked at yourself in the mirror for a good few minutes. The mirror in the bathroom was small and only showed your image from your head to your chest but you smiled. You hadn't looked this good in a while now. As if pulled out of a trance by John's knock on the door, you quickly took some water and set your hair back a bit more and hoped it wouldn't move.
You finally got out and saw that John was on the phone. He turned around to look at you as he hung up. He sighed as he walked around you. "Looks alright," He huffed, tugging at the suit. "Put this on," He said, handing you a ring. It was a plain silver band that you knew must've cost a lot.
"Is it rental too?" You asked, looking at it.
"No, but don't lose it." He said. "Well, put it on for God's sake!" He raised his voice slightly. "And stand a bit straighter, you look like you're being sentenced to death. Have you forgotten how to put on a smile? Jesus,"
"Dad," Dean said suddenly as he walked in, having heard John's voice. He had his brows furrowed together and his eyes quickly checked on you before locking with John's again. "He's nervous too." He said and for a minute, there was an awkward silence that took a hold of the air in the room as if someone had sucked it right out of it with a vacuum.
At that very instant, you knew it was all cool. Whatever tense air that had been between you and Dean, you knew it was all forgiven and forgotten. Dean raising a voice against John? Damn, it almost felt like it was his way of apologizing to you. At that moment, you knew Dean trusted you. You could even say that Dean was yours now, almost, and maybe John had felt it too. He looked at Dean and then at you before looking back at Dean again.
"Here's your suit, be out in ten," John grumbled before leaving, dialling up a number on his phone. "Sam? Is Bobby there yet? Tell him to come here," He spoke through the phone as he left.
"You okay?" Dean asked as he put aside his garment bag and walked over towards you. "You look good," He said after you nodded.
"Thanks," You said, looking up at him. You stood on your toes and left a small peck on his lips. "I'm sorry,"
Dean just shook his head at that, "Don't," He said as he looked down as if he was almost embarrassed. He looked at your hands and took them into his. He turned over your hand and looked at the ring, "It came early." He said. "We almost thought it wouldn't get here in time," He said as a small grin teased at the corner of his lips. You just stood there, looking at him as he took the ring and gently put it on the ring finger of your left hand. "Fits," He said.
"It does," You said looking down at the ring on your finger. Dean let go of your hand and slowly brought up his hand to your chin. He made you look up at him and kissed you. He was fast, almost as if he had meant to hit your lips with his but then you noticed how his hand was trembling a little.
"You nervous?" You whispered, hardly breaking apart from the kiss.
He chuckled, "I'm surprised you aren't,"
"Oh trust me, I'm shaking in my boots." You said with a smile on your face and he laughed. "I'm just good at hiding it."
"Yeah?" He grinned and kissed you again before finally pulling back. "I better get ready."
