Chapter 1
"Good Morning!" I cheerfully said to everyone in the corridor. You see today is my birthday, I'm turning 16, which means.. I'M GETTING MY SOULMATE MARK TODAY!!
At exactly 1:00pm today, I'm getting my soulmate mark on my wrist. Peter has already got his and it looks like a mini blast or explosion.. (idk)
Yeah, I know. I hope it means me.. because if I don't get a P or something, I'm just gonna cry.
"Good morning, Mr Stark," I yelled excitedly. "Good morning, Steve! You know what day it is, right?!!"
"Umm, Friday?" Mr Stark questioned as he took a bite of his sandwich.
"Haha, very funny!"
"Oh yeah," Steve started. I smiled in anticipation. "Peter's coming over?"
I know they hadn't forgotten my building. I've been talking about it for too long. Maybe they were planning a surprise birthday for me. I've never really had a proper birthday party, so now I'm totally excited.
I went to my room and said, "Hey LO.CON.A."
Two bells rang on the device, "Greetings, Miss Hughes! Whatever would you enjoy to do this day... oh i believe it is your birthday today! Happy birthday! 30 minutes until you get an object belonging to you, that object being your soulmate mark!"
"Thank you, I would like to upload you onto my smartwatch please!"
"Okay, right away! Download 10% complete, download 20% complete. download 30% complete..."
I put my watch on my wrist and went out to train a little bit, for 10 minutes exactly, until I heard a voice that I haven't heard for so long.
"Hey B.A.!"
"Peter!!" I shouted, jumping into his arms for a hug. "I haven't seen you in so long!"
"It's only been one year!" Peter jokingly said. "Anyways, here, Aunt May made you some cupcakes for your birthday!"
"OH MY DAYS, THANK YOUU," I gasped, as I opened the container. "Want one?" I asked Peter.
He nodded and took one, "Did you get anything from the rest yet?"
"No, not yet.. I think maybe they're planning a surprise party!" I excitedly said as we walked down the corridor and up to the "Avengers Board Room"
