Fourth Year

The Hogwarts Express was boarded by students once again for another year. This time, Elena brought another friend with herself on the train; a pet cat.
The three friends found an empty compartment, where they seated themselves and began their ususl conversations.

"Her name is Dawn." Elena told them, stroking the white persian cat's fur.

"SHESADORABLE." Felicia squealed very fast.

"Adorable?!" Soleil hissed, "cats are menaces of the world. Dogs are the true cuties." She folded her arms.

Elena and Felicia looked at her, scandalized.

"Take that back." They both said.

"No."

The two looked at each other, and then nodded. They turned back at Soleil, who glanced between them confusedly.

"What?"

They approached her with hands outstretched, as if about to attack her.
A horrified look appeared on her face as she realised what they were doing.

"No no no no-" she muttered, backing away in her seat.
The next second, she laughed while desperately trying to free herself from the tickles.

When they finally stopped, Elena looked around.

"Where's Dawn?"

*Elios' perspective*

He was sitting all alone in his compartment, having told his friends that he wanted some time alone. Staring out of the window, he wanted nothing better to jump out of it, or maybe disappear into his seat.
He'd already experienced transformations into a werewolf many times in the past few months, but nonetheless could not come to terms with it. The wolfsbane potion made things slightly easier; he could keep his human mind in wolf form, and thus did not hurt or kill anyone.
Transforming while away from home would be a different story. He would have to spend his days in the room of requirements, drinking his potion, and hiding his transformations.

He would have to spend daylight hours there as well, to minimize suspicion, under the pretense of having gone home due to illness.

He was pondering upon how the year would go, how many lessons he'll have to miss (and what could go wrong) when he heard a loud meow.

There was a white fluffy cat in the compartment door. He ignored it at first, hoping the owner would come and take it, but it kept meowing. He tried to hiss at it, to scare it away, but the cat stayed where it was, scratching at the door, trying to come in.
He got up and opened the door, trying to gently kick it away, but it tried to come in.

He eventually gave in. Sighing in defeat, he looked right and left, and then lifted it into his arms.

"Cute." He said, while scratching it's head affectionately.

He closed the door and sat down, putting it on his side, but the cat then leapt onto his lap, resting there to sleep.
He could not help but melt. It was fluffy and small, and it liked Elios.

After some time, Elios heard someone yelling 'dawn'.
The person came into view as they passed by his compartment; Elena Zeller. She was looking around, searching for something. When she saw Elios and the cat, she froze. He realised the cat must've belonged to her.
She entered the container, trying to not look at him, eyes locked on the cat, who was wide awake now. She held out her hands and pulled it out of his lap.

For a moment her amber eyes met his, and Elios felt an unusual shudder travel down his spine. A shudder of fear.

She left the compartment, leaving Elios alone, and rather confused.

I'm pretty sure this is, what? The fifth time I'm saying this?

This story was written on a whim, so the parts are usually short becsuse these are scenes that i had imagined. I had never created any definitive plot...this was a sort of practice story, to accustom myself with romance writing.
K byeee i won't beg for votes today :)
