"Today we will be dealing with Nifflers." Professor Wells said. He was their Care-for-Magical-Creatures teacher.
Elena looked at the small black creatures. They looked a bit like a platypus, and were rather cute and cuddly.

They were told to use the nifflers to find gold coins (as nifflers were used to find valuable items) in the pumkin patch. When Elena went upto the nifflers to take one, they all gathered around her in a circle obediently.
Of coarse, she thought, how could I forget. Dammit.
The teacher's eyes shot up at this curious sight. Elena could feel the gaze of the rest of the class.
Felicia and Soleil, who were standing at the back of the class, realised immediately and quickly tried to distract everyone.

"Ah!" Soleil yelled rather too loudly. She'd purposely grabbled a watch, and the niffler she held tried to take it.

The whole class turned in the opposite direction, towards Soleil, giving Elena enough time to run away and gesture the nifflers to go away. They did exactly as she ordered.
Elena turned back. Soleil was continually yelling, and everyone was still looking at her.
Everyone except Selwyn.

Elena's heart skipped a beat. He was going to tell his friends what he'd just seen...

He continued to stare at her, gaping. Elena raised her eyebrow and glared. At this, he quickly looked at away anxiously.
Elena noticed he had a shadow of dark circles under his eyes.

Everyone turned back towards the nifflers, rolling their eyes. The teacher was scolding Soleil for overeacting.

When the three of them were walking in the halls, Yaxley did an imitation of Soleil yelling in Care-of-Magical-Creatures, making sure that they were watching him.

"Oh mY gAwD sOmEOne hELP MeEee!" He said while moving his hands as if pushing an invisible niffler from his lap. Nott let out a howl of laughter. Selwyn smirked, but it seemed somewhat forced.

Elena looked guiltily at Soleil. Soleil patted her head, trying to catch Yaxley's eye, grinning. When he made eye contact with her, she gave him a wink.

Yaxley stopped laughing, giving her a confused look. She then gave him a flying kiss.
Felicia looked revolted. Elena herself involuntarily cringed.

Yaxley tried to look unaffected, but his ears were turning red. He eventually told his friends that they should go to class.

"WHAT. WAS. THAT?!" Felicia screamed in a very high pitched voice once they were out of earshot. They were on their way to charms class.

"You know" Soleil said calmly, feeling rather proud of herself, "I've decided that I'll practice my flirting skills on him."

Felicia questioningly stared at her as they sat down in their seats.

"Yaxley is stupider than a flobberworm. His biggest weakness is flirting, so It'll keep him away from us."

"But we're not dealing with him all the time." Felicia argued, "sometimes Nott passes comments."

"Nott is, well, nott for me to deal with." Soleil said, emphasising on her pun, grinning.

Elena chuckled while taking notes.

"You find that funny???" Felicia asked in disbelief.

"She's adorable when she's punning." Elena said to her.

"I think they are a great weapon against Nott."

"Fel if you're not careful I might just give you a kiss." Soleil said, looking at Felicia lovingly, leaning towards her.

Felicia pushed Soleil's face back nonchalantly.
She continued to cover her face with her hand until Soleil said (her voice muffled) "Alright, I won't try that again."

Felicia let go, smirking.
"Good. Besides if I hadn't stopped you, Roman would have haunted me forever."

Soleil smiled shyly.

Elena remembered something; on their last hogsmeade trip, Elena had seen Roman sitting in the Three Broomsticks with a girl.

"Hey isn't he-" she started, but abruptly stopped, realising that saying it infront of Soleil would be tactless.
They looked at her expectantly.

"Isn't he...on the quidditch team?" She asked randomly, trying to sound as if it was her original question.

"No." Felicia replied, giving her a suspicious look, "he isn't a sports person."

"Oh, okay."

She knew that this wasn't going to ward off Felicia's suspicion, but she wanted to ask the question somewhere away from Soleil.

A short chapter, and it's not unimportant  (mostly atleast)

Oh, and do Nott ask how much me and my friend punned after this chapter.
