"I can't believe they let Finn come," Octavia said as they walked through the woods.

"He's the best tracker we got," Bellamy told her before speaking to the rest of the group. "Don't forget to look up. The Grounders use the trees. That's how we list John Mbege. How's your leg?" he asked, turning to Alia.

"I'm fine. You worry too much."

"Kind of my job, angel."

"There," Raven pointed as she looked through the binoculars. "I see it. Here," she added them to Clarke and then Alia as they looked at the satellite dish on top of the mountain.

"It'll be dark soon," Clarke said. "We'll never spot the traps." Alia handed the binoculars to Abby. "We should set up camp here. Leave at first light."

Abby nodded, looking around at the rest of the group spread out around them. "We're missing two," she realized, turning to Clarke. "Where the hell are they?"

"Bellamy! Octavia!" one of the guards yelled.

"Clarke, we are in enemy territory and their lives are my responsibility."

"They went to find a way in," Clarke told her calmly.

"A way in? That's not what this mission is about."

"It is for them."

"Find them. Bring them back," Abby ordered Scott.

"Yes, ma'am. You two with me."

"I'm going with them," Finn said as he grabbed a gun.

"Finn, wait."

"We need you here," Raven backed up Clarke.

"Why? So you can keep an eye on me? You'd have to be able to look at me to do that," he looked at Clarke.

"Finn," Raven said quietly, going closer but he pulled away.

"What do you think I'm gonna do?"

"Finn," Clarke tried, but he dropped the gun and walked off. "I'll go get him."

"This is going great," Alia sighed. "Raven," she said, grabbing her arm and making her look at the oncoming yellow fog. "Acid fog! Take cover!" Raven and Alia immediately pulled out the tent, setting it up as fast as possible and getting inside as the remaining soldier got in theirs.

"Clarke? Clarke, do you read me?" Abby tried again, but there was just static.

"We're closer to the source. It's swallowing short range now too."

"Clarke, do you read me? Damn it."

"Clarke and Finn know these woods."

"She left her pack and her tent is in it."

"They'll find shelter," Raven continued as she messed with the radio, murmurs coming over.

"What is that?" Abby asked.

"I don't know."

"Is that a person?" Alia asked.

"It sounds like they're jamming every frequency but this one."

"It must be theirs," Alia said and Raven nodded.

"You hear that? This one's clear," she said excitedly, pulling out more tools.

"That sounds clear to you?"

"It will be once I crack the encryption."

"Okay, English, Raven," Abby told her. "What does that mean?"

"It means we'll be able to listen in on Mount Weather." Raven and Alia set to work as Abby watched.

"What's taking so long?" she asked.

"Almost got it. They're using a type of audio modulation here."

"It's like a feedback loop," Alia explained.

"I just need to pinpoint the origin of the loop, home in on the pure transmission. Just need to find the right..." Suddenly a voice came through clearly.

"Check the other side and report back, over."

"That's Cage. The president's son," Alia told them.

"You did it," Abby smiled at them.

"Copy. Checking the western boundary. Stand by. Over. No signs of life. Over."

"Has the veil lifted yet? Over."

"Negative, sir. Coverage is still ninety percent. Over."

"Keep searching. If they pop up, hit them again. Over and out."

"The veil. They're talking about the fog," Abby realized. "It's a weapon."

"Which means they attacked us."

Abby looked out the window before calling into the tent next to them. "Sergeant Porter."

"Yes, ma'am?"

"Build your bomb. When that fog lifts, take the tower down. Copy?"

"I copy, ma'am."

"What's wrong?" she asked, looking at Raven.

"We're listening to the enemy. Blow the antenna, we won't be able to do that."

"Don't blow it and we won't make contact with any other Ark survivors and we need those reinforcements, Raven."

"Tough call. I know what Clarke would do."

"It's more complicated than that," Abby told her.

"We either save the forty six people we know are there or we give up on them and try to rescue people that we aren't sure are alive. Complicated enough?" Alia asked.

They turned as they saw Clarke and Finn walk out of the tree line, Abby going over and pulling Clarke into a hug.

"Bellamy and Octavia?" she asked as they pulled away.

"They know to rendezvous here."

"Well have you tried to radio?"

"Still jammed," Raven told her as she and Alia walked over.

"You didn't blow the tower?"

"Raven and Alia figured out a way that we could listen to Mount Weather. If we took out the antenna, we wouldn't be able to do that."

"What about the other Ark stations?"

"We don't know if they made it. What we do know is that forty six of our people are being held prisoner in that mountain. We're gonna get them out." Clarke hugged her again as Raven walked over to Finn. They each had their side conversation before they heard a voice from the woods.

"Help!"

"Stay here, chancellor," Porter told her as he and the other guard went to the edge of the woods.

"Help me!"

"Show us your hands!"

The figure came into sight, his hands up. "Stand down," he ordered, walking over to Abby.

"Thelonius?" she asked before he fell to the ground, leaning into her.

"I have a message from the commander. Leave or die. We have two days."

Not necessarily the most exciting episode, but here you go! Hope you all are doing well. Thanks for reading!
