The brush bristles glided through your hair, your mind slowly beginning to sooth after your long day in Liyue. Lady Ningguang had been humming above you, a small smile plastered on her face.
"Are you enjoying yourself?" She asked you, and placed a kiss ontop of your head. "I am, thank you." You tipped your head back at her, and Ningguang gave you a smile. She leaned down and pecked your forehead, leaving you with red cheeks.
"You still get flustered everytime I kiss you?" Your lover laughed and looked down at you with an eyebrow raised. Her words only made your face redder which resulted in both of you grinning at each other.
The two of you had been together for nearly two years, and just the thought of the wealthy woman made your heart melt. Both of you were hopelessly in love, each of you giving each other their everything.
"How couldn't I? I am absolutely in love with you." You say to her, which made it her turn to blush. You reached your hand up to Ningguang's face and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. Soon after, your hand traveled to her cheek. She placed her hand ontop of yours and rubbed your hand with her thumb, kissing the inside of your hand.
"And I," She pauses to finally lean down and kiss you, her lips lingering for longer than the average kiss. "Am completely captivated by you."
Your lips meet once again, the two of you completely forget time exists and only focus on each other.

Not long after, you find yourself in Ningguang's lap in bed. Your head was on her chest and her fingers were combing through your hair once again. Her soft voice hummed in your ears, singing a well known song from Liyue. Her voice was from the heavens, making you extremely sleepy.
Your eyes kept closing and opening, forcing to stay awake. Your body was tired after a long day of visiting Liyue, even if Lady Ningguang had been the ruler of the pretty city.
The both of you would always cut the work in half, Lady Ningguang would always do the hard thinking while you would do the physical work. But you didn't mind it, that meant your actions didn't have to be thought about. Only drawing your sword at the things that came into Liyue's path.
You completely relaxed in her grasp, eventually moving your body around so your arms wrapped around your lover. Her fingertips had still been combing through your hair, massaging your scalp. Your mind slowly was slipping away, darkness beginning to take you for the night until your eyes crack open to a voice.
"Darling, you're tired. You should get some sleep." Her voice ringing in your ears, drawing your attention back into reality.
You whined, your arms around Ningguang tightening. She kissed the top of your head again, a smile forming on your lips. "I'm not tired." You said with a yawn, and buried your head into the crook of her neck.
The last thing before your vision went blank was hearing your lady's soft laughter in your ears.

The morning sunlight shined on the Jade Chamber, spilling out into the rooms of the floating paradise. The curtains of your room had been flowing with the wind, which had softly blew into your room.
The sunlight had soon reached your eyes, which made you slowly awaken. You blinked a few times, sleepily yawning and stretching your limbs. Your body was engulfed by your lovers, your legs all tangled, arms wrapped around each other, cuddling up to one another.
"Good morning." Ningguang's voice rang out, and you looked up to her smiling face again. The one you had woke up to every morning for now 2 years, today had marked your anniversary.
"Good morning, my love." Your arms squeezed her torso, your eyes staring at each other dreamily. Waking up everyday in each other's arms was an absolute dream come true. Citizens of Liyue will ask of what Ningguang's priority really is, most will say the Jade Chamber from how much time and mora have been used on.
But it was you.
You had the key to her heart and unlocked it everytime you had been together, and nobody has ever came close to earning Ningguang's affection. Until yourself swooped in, and took her off her feet. Everytime she heard your voice call her name, she'd go weak in the knees.
"Has it already been two years?" You asked her, and her eyes never left you. "Indeed so, but it feels like it's been seconds." Her fingers traced the shape of your face, down the bridge of your nose, your lips, your eyes. Then looked directly at you, with a huge smile on her face.
"I love you, Y/N, so incredibly much that you wouldn't understand." Her lips drop down onto your forehead, and you smile so hard your cheeks hurt.
