You had walked into Komore Teahouse, a little after the time you had planned to meet both Thoma and the Traveler. Thoma insisted you all play the 'Hot Pot Game' he made up, even though last time he cried like a baby from how hot his mouth was.
But, you still weren't letting your competitive side down. So, you brought in Jueyun Chilis!
You spent so much time prepping and cutting the big peppers that you lost track of time, pretty much running to get to the tea house.
It had been awhile since you had been to the Teahouse, ever since the incident by the Electro Archon's statue, Thoma can't go outside. Thanks to the Traveler, his vision was saved and so was his skin.
You felt bad for your lover, you barely got to see him. The two of you were inseparable, but now you couldn't always go to the Komore Teahouse to avoid suspicion. But, today was a good day. You were having Hot Pot with your favorite pyro user and the Traveler, Paimon included.
You barged through the doorway, even the Shiba Inu, Taroumaru, was startled by you. He barked at you, clearly scolding you for your loud entrance.
"I'm sorry, Taroumaru! I didn't want to be late!" You claimed and he whined at your response, a loud voice from behind the dog calling out.
"Y/N's finally here!" A figure dashed down the hall and appeared next to you, "About time! Hurry up, Hot Pot isn't going to eat itself!" The pyro user peered into your face, a huge smile stretched across his cheeks.
He grabbed your hand and pulled you into the room, Aether and Paimon already settled down. "Well, well. It's about time! Paimon was about to eat this all to herself!" Paimon said with her hands on her hips, clearly annoyed. She soon got over it when she saw the bag in your hands.
"Ooh, what you got there buddy?" She said and looked at you as you put the chilis into the pot. "Oh nothing special, guess you'll have to guess to find out!" You smiled, knowing that if she picked your ingredient, it probably wouldn't go well.
You took a seat next to Thoma, Aether's eyes peering into the Hot Pot. He looked as if he was ready to devour the whole thing to himself.
"Well, since the Traveler's new to the game, let's let him go first!" Thoma said with a smile, Aether grabbing the ladle and fishing out a piece of food.
He put it on his plate, and then stook his fork in it, bringing it up to his mouth. His face made an unsure look then his nose scrunched, "Salty Ham- No, super duper salty ham!" He said, and swallowed it. "Blah!" He yelled and wiped his mouth with a napkin.
