"I'm not a baby!" He whined and you teased him, "Here comes the airplane! Vrrrroooommmmm!"
—
"Thoma! I'm home!"
You called out when you opened the door, usually he had been home before you. However, the lights were still off and there was no sign of your cute housemaker. Your house in Inazuma City was a small and adorable place to call home, even Taroumaru would often find himself in your house.Speaking of the devil, he trotted up to you and let out a, "Woof!" In front of you.
"Where's Thoma, Taroumaru?" You asked him and bent down to give him a good scratch behind the ears, he wagged his tail and then jumped to the window cill.He put his paws on the glass which had overlooked the eastern side of Narukami Island, your eyes laid on the Kamisato Estate.
"Do you think he's still working? It wouldn't be the first time he's gotten home late."
The dog only barked in response, then lazily hogged your couch. You chuckled at him and stood up, deciding to make dinner for the three of you while you waited for him.
"Hmmm, does Miso Soup sound good?" You said and opened the fridge, Taroumaru whining on the couch. "I know you don't like Tofu, but Thoma and I do, so that's two against one! But don't worry, I've got something better for you."
Your eyes looked to the box of doggy treats on the counter, you stuck your hand in the box of homemade treats that Thoma made especially for Taroumaru.
The dog immediately perked up, hopped off the couch and ran up to you. "Who's a good boy?" You smiled at him and he barked, clearly annoyed and just wanted the treat. "You're no fun!" You laughed and handed him the treat.
You grabbed the Tofu and Seagrass out of the fridge and began chopping it up, the sun began to set lower and lower in the sky outside the window that overlooked the Kamisato Estate. You began to boil everything together including the broth, the delectable meal began to fill your noses in the room.
You took a small sip of the soup and decided to add a pinch more of salt like Thoma would normally cook it. He would love to create his specialty, 'Warmth', however he refused to share his secret ingredients with anyone, including you. All you knew how was to make the normal Miso Soup but that was more than enough for both of you, it tasted amazing.
(Honestly I'd kill to have some of Genshin impact's dishes, they sound so good)
Once the soup was finally ready, you put the lid on the pot to keep your meal warm for when you were finally ready to dig in. Your fingers wrapped around the handle to a drawer and you took out silverware and plates from the cupboards up top. You placed the plates at the dinner table and the silverware right at the side, along with napkins.
