READ AT YOUR OWN RISKYae Miko chatted with you as the two of you awaited your call at the Sacred Sakura Tree.
"It shouldn't be too much longer now, Aether does have the omamori. He will need our help in 'opening her heart.'" Miko locked eyes with you, knowing of how much you cared for the Electro Archon.
You frowned slightly, unsure of where this situation would go. You were nervous on how the Shogun would react to you, would she be happy? Would she loathe you? Would she strike you down there and then?
"Miko... It's been years since I've seen Ei. So much has changed and happened, how do we know she will be willing?" You began, a frown still on your face. Doubts had been circulating in your mind and you weren't sure if this would be successful.
"You will see. But promise to me you will not reveal yourself until I give you my word. Or things may take a turn." You nodded and accepted her terms.
Suddenly, Yae Miko's attention went else where. She grabbed your hand, and said, "Well, look at the time. We were expecting you."
Your surroundings faded around you and blended all into one, before finally, going blank.
—
You finally regained your vision to see Aether and Yae Miko in front of you, the ambitions of the people of Inazuma surrounding you.
Colors of blue, green, yellow, red and many others had brightened the Plane of Euthymia. All shined down on the Traveler, who was then buffed incredibly. All to defeat your love, Ei.
Aether then went at her, sparing with her and didn't let her get a moment to recover. Their weapons clashed, sword against polearm.
Her powerful abilities were beginning to fade, Aether beginning to wear her down. This duel was close, but not close enough. The victor was obvious.
Her health began to deplete, slowly and slowly she began to weaken. Until, Aether hit her one last time. The Electro Archon fell to her knee, panting.
Yae Miko smiled at her friend and said,
"You've lost, Ei.""Yes, I have." She sighed and regained her posture, her eyes flickering to Yae Miko and Aether. You had kept yourself hidden, it wasn't the right time to reveal yourself. Not yet, at least.
