Your heart crumbled at the sight of seeing him happy with another lover. The terror in your eyes as you felt betrayed and led on, you felt ashamed for even giving him a moment of your time.
You heard his lover's soft laughs as he and her sat at an Inazuma local restaurant, flirting with one another. A certain woman was beside you, gripping your hand in comfort but you felt too numb to feel her touch.
Yae Miko's usual sly grin was replaced with a frown, the Shrine Maiden was awfully close to you and warned you of the puppet's intentions. He was selfish, he didn't give a damn about the people who intervened in his life.
But you? Oh, he played you like a fiddle.
How loved you felt that one morning after you had helped him leave with the Electro Archon's gnosis in hand, you had been the only person he knew and had befriended.

You woke up to two arms wrapped around you with your head pressed against something warm, a blanket draped over you. Your body was sore from how hard the fight was against the Watatsumi Army, your bones creaked with every movement.
"Shhh..." A voice came from above you, hushing you back to sleep. Hands rubbed your back to sooth you with a kiss to your forehead, you couldn't help but feel loved in this amazing presence.
You opened your eyes to see the one and only Scaramouche above you, his attempts for you to fall back asleep failed. "Go back to sleep, Y/N." His voice said and you looked up at him, confused on how you got into this position.
"You passed out from how much you fought on the battle field." He looked down at you with a frown, "Have you ever once thought that you've been pushing yourself too hard?" You grinned at his words and snuggled into him, and he huffed.
"Hmm? I thought Mr. Scaramouche didn't have a heart. Caring for a human? How unheard of." You teased him and leaned up to kiss his cheek, but instead of him returning the kiss, he flicked your forehead.
"Owww!" You cried and rubbed your forehead, a laughing coming out of his lips. "Me? A heart? Who would have thought of such a thing." His arms squeezed you and he peppered you with kisses, your life seemed so complete in that very moment.
