"The sign is right there," Jin observed as he saw the sign he had seen earlier on his journey come into view again on the opposite side of the road.
He receives a glance from Jungkook, who shakes his head and says nothing.
"So you are taking me there, right?"
"That's about thirty minutes off the highway, don't you realize? I'll stop at a gas station you can-"
"I don't eat at gas stations, and I'm really hungry. My stomach even hurts." Jin tugged at his seatbelt and pouted, "I didn't know you were going to take me so far out. Had I known, I would have brought something to snack on."
After he had inhaled and exhaled deeply, Jungkook said, "I'm not sure why I brought you with me." Following the next exit, he turned off the highway and stopped by the side of the road.
"What caused you to stop?"
Rather than respond, Jungkook began looking for places nearby to eat close to where they were. Upon finding a restaurant, he entered its address into his car's navigation system.
"Where are we heading now?" Jin asked as he saw the navigation, instructed Jungkook to drive straight and make a left.
"A place where you can eat and be quiet."
"Oh, are you getting annoyed by me? I noticed that you seemed annoyed."
Jungkook once again stayed silent. Instead, he was looking into his side mirror before pulling off into the rush of cars exiting the highway.
Jin sighed, relaxed in his seat, and browsed through his phone. Suddenly, a thought struck him, so he flipped the camera on and, leaning closer to Jungkook, he snapped a picture of them together.
Jungkook hadn't even looked at him when he thought he would say something to him. The silence on the car ride continued to make him anxious, as he couldn't tell what Jungkook was thinking or how he even felt being with him.
Putting his phone down, he turned in his seat, facing Jungkook, "do you want to play a game?"
"No."
Rolling his eyes, Jin glanced at the navigation system; his eyes widened when he saw their estimated time of arrival had changed from twenty-five minutes to forty, "wait, why is it so far away?"
"What kind of vision do you have? We are surrounded by traffic, don't you see it?" Jungkook responded by glimpsing at him.
Jin frowned, "I didn't realize, and I wasn't looking since I am not the one driving."
He received no response from Jungkook, which wasn't surprising. As he turned towards the window, looking out, he tried to see whether they were driving past any restaurants instead of where Jungkook was taking him. But it was like being in a mysterious ghost town wherever they were - there was nothing much around besides a few buildings with their backs facing towards his direction, so he couldn't tell exactly what kind of buildings they were.
Taking a glance back at Jungkook, his eyes shifted towards the sweatpants he was wearing. He has never been seduced by a man in sweatpants until he had seen Jungkook in it.
He was nibbling on his lower lip as different thoughts raced through his mind, but as he caught Jungkook staring at him, his eyes grew wide. After turning his head quickly, he saw that they were at a stoplight.
He could still feel Jungkook's eyes on him and dare not to turn and look at him; the last thing he wanted was to make eye contact with him again. When Jungkook suddenly turned right at the next light, he became confused as he saw the navigation rerouting, but Jungkook didn't follow it; he continued driving where Jin had no idea.
