Chapter Seventy-Seven

"You ask him."

"No, you ask him."

"Why do I have to ask him? Why can't you ask him?" As they waited for Jin to finish using the restroom and join them at the table, Jimin nudged Hoseok at his side and inquired.

"Well, you are better at these things than I am; just ask him; he is coming." Hoseok turned to look in Jin's direction and smiled as he got closer to their table. He ignored Jimin's huff and smiled wider.

"Gosh, I felt like I would pee myself. Such a relief now."

Jin took his seat across from the two, feeling a lot better now that he had used the bathroom. He saw Hoseok and Jimin were looking at him weirdly, which prompted him to ask them, "everything okay?"

Jimin took a deep breath, "okay, Hoseok and I are curious about something, and please don't take this the wrong way if you are not, but we have to ask."

"Umm, sure, what's up?" Jin rarely saw Jimin look nervous, and he did look nervous as he spoke to him. When he looked at Hoseok, Hoseok was playing around with the leftover food on his plate.

"Are you, by chance, pregnant?"

As soon as Jin heard Jimin's inquiry, a grin came out on his face, and he nodded his head while saying, "oh my, is it noticeable?"

"Wow, so you are?!"

"Oh my goodness, Seokjin, why didn't you tell us? Why did you keep it a secret? Not me here thinking Jungkook has been overfeeding you." Hoseok exclaimed, still in shock.

Jin erupted in hysterical laughter and said, "Oh no, wait, I'm so sorry. I was planning on telling you once I got back from the restroom, but now that you mention it, I think it's obvious."

"Wow." Jimin lets out, still in disbelief. "What month are you currently in?"

"Five months."

Jimin and Hoseok's faces were identical as they exclaimed, "WHAT?!" in unison.

"I know; I am sorry!"

"You do not look like you are five months pregnant, but you look pregnant, which is why we were curious. However, you do not look like you are five months pregnant. That can't be true, right? Now I am confused as to why you didn't tell us earlier. I tell you whenever I am pregnant, even before I tell Taehyung."

"Me too; Yoongi is often the one who learns the last. Remember that I came to you guys for help when I found out I was pregnant in high school. Therefore, why have you kept this information from us for the last five months? It's Jungkook, isn't it? He requested you keep it a secret, right? No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to like-"

"Jimin, I can assure you that it is not due to Jungkook," Jin added, instantly cutting off Jimin because he did not want Jungkook to get any unnecessary blame. "If I'm being really honest, I've wanted to share this with you guys ever since I found out. On the other hand, I just couldn't. The issue is, I know that you guys were constantly questioning me about why I didn't have kids previously and other things like that, but the reality is that I attempted it several times. Still, it never worked out since I had miscarriages every time.

It is also not the first time Jungkook and I have been expecting; while we were still in high school, I got pregnant. During that time, I had a pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage. Because a lot was going on at the time and because I was dealing with a lot, I did not share it with either of you and for that, I am sorry. He was aware of it, but I am sorry that I did not share it with you. I don't want you to think that I didn't cherish our friendship since it was incredibly challenging for me. The same thing happened to me during my marriage; I had a miscarriage twice.
