Chapter Fifty-Six

When Jin heard Jungkook's comments, he turned in his arms and said, "Please be nice; he is my friend from my former school before I moved here." In the next breath, he turned around to face Seung-Ho and said, "Seung-Ho, this is Jungkook... Well, he is the person I am dating at the moment." Jin was on the verge of making the mistake of referring to Jungkook as his boyfriend, completely forgetting that they were not at that level yet and that Jungkook did not care about titles.

Jungkook extended his hand forward to greet Seung-Ho as one arm remained wrapped around Jin's waist. Jungkook did not say anything when Seung-Ho shook his hand.

"So, Seokjin, I am guessing I will see you later, and if not, I will call you tonight so we can catch up. I have a new anime series that you may be interested in if you still watch anime." Before walking away, Seung-Ho said to Jin with a grin on his face.

Jin swallowed as he felt Jungkook's arm tighten around his waist as he stood there watching Seung-Ho leave.

"Why do I get the feeling that's not just a friend from your old school?" Jungkook says, turning Jin to face him.

While looking down at the small space between them, Jin remarked in a delicate, almost whispered voice, "we are just friends," he said. "However, to be honest, he was my very first ever crush."

"Really? And what is he to you now, since I am just the guy you are dating at the moment."

After pulling away from Jungkook's embrace, Jin exhaled, "he is a friend; he did not even know I had a crush on him back then, or anything like that. In addition, how else was I expected to present you to my friends? Yes, I am telling the truth: You are the man I am now dating and is not that exactly what we are doing? Or did I somehow miss the notice that our relationship was no longer a dating one?"

"I don't want you talking to him."

"You can't tell me that, he is my friend-"

"Who you have a crush on!"

"Had, Jungkook, though not to the extent that I still do. The only man I am interested in at the moment is you. And until you do something to change that, you will be the only one I will ever be interested in! There is nothing to be concerned about when it comes to me since I am a very loyal person, in case you have not noticed.

I only had one crush in my previous town, and it was on him, but I was too embarrassed to admit it. Anyway, everything happened just as it should have, so I will not weep over it. Then I arrived here, and I formed feelings for you, which, fortunately, has been working out for us. However, I do not like everyone, and I find comfort in concentrating on only one person at a time, which is you. So believe me when I say that you will never have to be concerned about me or whether or not I am up to anything behind your back."

"Let us speak about this more later," Jungkook said, leaning in and kissing Jin on the lips.

Jin's whole day at school was weird; he had no idea what Jungkook thought since he did not speak anything to him after he had talked a lot to him earlier in the day. He was trying not to be bothered by it since he knew Jungkook was not the kind to hold back when it came to talking and would say whatever he wanted when he wanted.

While leaving school with Hoseok and Jimin, he was taken aback to discover Jungkook waiting for him in the school parking lot, resting against his vehicle. He had no idea that he would be there.

"Wow, it seems like someone came to get you. Seung-ho is starting things." Hoseok said, forcing Jin to glance at him and giggle. "Oh please, it is not like that," I shall see you both later, Jimin, and if I have time tonight, I will drop by your place." Before rushing to Jungkook, Jin informed them.
