Late Night-Loceit

Logan sat restless in his room, the blaring light from his lamp still on even at a time like this. Despite how much he knew, and cared about a healthy sleep schedule, especially for Thomas. The logical trait just couldn't seem to find a way to sleep.

He took his glasses off for a moment to rub his eyes, before putting them back on. Logan didn't know what else to do, so he decided to go into the kitchen to make hot chocolate.

He sunk down out of his room into the kitchen and to his surprise to saw someone still awake, yet that wasn't what shocked him. It was who was there that was so surprising. "Janus?" Logan said, clearly perplexed.

The snake like side glanced up "oh? Logan, what's someone like you doing up at a time like thisss. " He replied, in his usual tone.

Logan just simply shurgged, "I could say the same to you. And, not that I mind you being here but what are you doing here?"

Janus sighed "am I not allowed in the light side mindscape?" He exclaimed mysteriously.

Logan narrowed his eyes "as long as you aren't up to anything." To which in response the Deceitful trait laughed. "Hah! Me? Be up to something, never." He hissed.

Logan nodded, "okay then theres no problem with you being here." He felt himself blush a tad "I actually quite enjoy your company, your the only other side actually close to my level."

Janus scoffed, "I agree, we are close to the same level. You just don't see the world in the way i do." He then paused for a moment," though, Logan, would you like to play chess with me? I guess that could be a competition of intelligence. "

Logan chuckled "oh, I am really not the competitive type-" Janus boredly looked at his hands, "hmm, what a shame because I am."

Janus smirked a bit "you sure you don't want to play with me? It'd be fun!" He insisted. "Plus, in reply to what you said I enjoy your company too Logic."

This caused Logan to blush softly. "Oh-!" He adjusted his tie, "thats uhm very kind.." his face heated up a bit more. If it wasn't already obvious, Logan had feelings for Janus, they had been there for a while now. "Sure, I'll play with you, but not for competitive reasons."

After they finished playing

Janus laughed, rolling his eyes a bit. "You're not pretty cute Logan."

This totally flustered the logical side "wh-what?!" He exclaimed "how am I cute?"

Janus rolled his eyes again, with a small smile. "No, not in the aww cute way, in the romantic way. You know for someone so smart you can't be dense sometimes. "

Logan raised an eyebrow in confusion "Janus, how am I possibly dense? I am now."

Janus chuckled "oh really? Then let me asssk you this, did you know that I have a crush on you?"

Logan's eyes widened and he froze, blushing covering his whole face. "You what?!"

Janus rolled his eyes "I mean I can't blame you, I am a master of deceit and all." He smiled.

Logan blushed even more "well im pretty sure a master of deceit would be able to be disguised as me longer." He paused "...and Janus, I have feelings for you as well.." He quietly admitted.

Janus grinned "Oh I can tell." he said proudly, which caused Logan to look up in shock. "I could tell from today."

Logan sighed "well Is that an answer then? Will you go out with me?"

Janus smiled lovingly "I'd hate to."
